Francis Marion University (NCAA DII, Florence, SC) has an assistant position open. It's more or less a start up program for Track. We prefer throws background, but will consider all. . Thanks, Mark
Keep in mind that this time of year HR departments are scrambling to get the official paperwork done - especially required paperwork.
Plus the sudden retirement of Anson Dorrance (UNC Women's Soccer) make have an effect. Coaches wondering about retirement may do so right before the season so that a long time assistant will at least get a chance as the Interim.
Every year I laugh at posts getting downvotes in this thread. Is it bitter applicants upset that they never got an interview? Do coaches not like seeing other coaches succeed? I noticed that many of the recent downvoted announcements were younger coaches in their early thirties or younger, it's not their fault that they take advantage of good opportunities to grow Why are 7 people disapproving of Denison hiring a younger head coach? There can't be that many people who were absolutely devastated to not take over a program that got 26th at their D3 Regionals? I know negativity is inherent to the identity of this website but geeze

*thinking caps on* Now why would she hire a hurdles coach...if she's a hurdles coach? And currently coaches Rai... to an olympic gold...that he previously did not achieve without her guidance...
Unless you're trolling lol, then *thinking caps off*
You'll get an update when the schools are ready to release a statement, not because you (and others) asked on here.
And for all you "the world is about to end because YOU haven't heard anything about who filled a position and school is about to start"- get a grip. Again, see above...this stuff happens EVERY FREAKING YEAR 🤦🏽. Athletes still have been training all summer, incomplete staffs have plans in place and other teams have their coaches(s)- some people just know how to keep their mouths shut!
How dare you *flips through rolodex* ask about jobs on a jobs posting thread!
After the same question being asked on multiple pages of the same schools- dared and did. Choke on those spaghettiOs.
Wartburg College looking for an assistant distance coach for 2024-2025. FT. Benefits. Pays 35-40k. Contact Coach Ryan Chapman () if you have any questions.
Rumors coming from Lincoln that Ryun Godfrey has accepted a position leaving Nebraska for Ok State as a new assistant distance coach. This will be his 4th college in 5 years for coaching. Major red flag territory
We have to get rid of these trash coaches. It’s sad how many of them get recycled and reused. It’s time to move on from some coaches.
K State, Arizona State, Nebraska, and now Oklahoma State. Where will he take his ingenuity next? Heard he would get pissed at his athletes tryna talk to him about training, let days or weeks go by ignoring athletes unless approached by them, and even fat shame all women and men. When you’ve been to 4 places within 5 years, it’s not the team, it’s a you problem. Anyone who has Ryun Godfrey as their next distance coach, I fear for your well being. He doesn’t care about you at all. The fact he will inherit an NCAA title next year with OK state is sad
Okay I’ll chime in because I know Ryun. This is a little off base. He’s certainly a weird and socially awkward man that struggles to relate and connect to people. In my experience a lot of distance nerds are that way. He’s not fat shaming or ignoring athletes or creating a toxic culture at any of his schools. It’s a little unfair to pile on baseless accusations.
