Some of you are spending your Friday and Saturday nights having the same "I'm smart; you're stupid" thoughtless p!ssing contest that you've repeated ad nauseam for years. It's tragically pathetic. Touch grass.

Haha, the words 'moron' and 'idiot' have been used so often in this thread it's like Ventolin has come back from the dead. (Disclaimer: figure of speech, no idea on the life status of crazy Vento).
Do you read what you write before you send it? Do you actually think that made any sense?
It makes perfect sense but you’re too dumb to comprehend the meaning of it.
Trump is a professional grifter, he’s leveraged to his eyeballs, and he stiffs anyone that he can on his debts.
For someone that claims not to like Trump you sure do seem to have a man crush on him.
A rich guy pays as little as he can get away with??? NO WAY!!!
Banks don't loan money for fun. If they don't think they can get their money back from you they won't give you a loan.
I don't like Trump. It just seems like I do because I consider the left to be so repugnant.
There's hierarchies in life. Littering and murder are both crimes. Murder is clearly a more serious crime. Trump and liberals are both abhorrent. The liberals are clearly WAAAAAAY more damaging to the world than Trump could ever be.
So, tell us, carmine - who are these "bosses" of whom you speak? Come on, do not be ashamed of who you are.
Anyone being honest noticed how odd it was that the neocons joined the left when Trump showed up.
People like the Lincoln Project, Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, George Will and on and on suddenly betrayed a lifetime of belief in order to oppose Trump.
Why?
It's the other way around. Having never understood the principles they thought they believed, lower IQ Republican voters joined Trump when Trump showed up. People like you, Carmine, Boebert, Gohmert, Postlethwaite. They suddenly betrayed a lifetime of belief in order to oppose actual conservative principles, policies and thought.

bro, so anyone who doesn’t pay pay their mortgage or student loan is just trying to get away with paying as little as they can get away with and it’s perfectly legit because Trump does the Same thing. Right?
Just admit you’re a ball washer. How you froth at the mouth at the leftist boogeyman is pathetic.

If you were actually above it, you wouldn't feel the need to post about how you are above it.
I think you are a political evangelist. A liberal crusader. Everyone who disagrees with you should be burned at the stake. Liberals like you are the true danger to the republic. The hate is eating you alive.
You are not very perceptive. Of course you aren't.
I am no liberal crusader.
If you disagreed with me on taxes or military spending or education or even guns and abortion, that would be fine with me. One of my best friends is a traditional conservative (but did not vote for Trump in 2020 though he did in 2016), and he and I differ on guns and abortion and taxes, but we play music together, and he's a great guy despite being wrong on those things. I am more conservative fiscally than probably anyone who posts here, and for sure more so than ANY politician on either side of the aisle that I have seen...they ALL want to spend, spend, spend...just on different things.
Generally speaking, you Republicans value material things. Democrats value people. I side with valuing people.
Where I draw the line is Donald Trump. He is an autocrat. He tried to overturn our fair election, and he invited and whipped up a violent mob as PART OF THE PLAN to try to make that happen...and now, we find out that he STOLE at least 36 boxes of material from the White House that belongs to the US Government, some of which are top secret and classified material. You still haven't said how you can possible defend what he did there. That is a threat to our national security. Trump is a threat to our Democratic Republic.
I have said so MANY times that if Ron DeSantis were to be elected President, I wouldn't LIKE it, but at least he wouldn't be Donald Trump. I have also said more than once that I LIKE it that the House and Senate flip back and forth political majorities...not something a "liberal crusader" would say. I'm all for a balance of power. Traditional Republicans DO have some good ideas...they haven't done jack sh!t about implementing any fiscal conservativeness though, but at least the IDEA is good. The problem with Republicans is that you are no longer the party of Ronald Reagan...who despised dictators, who encouraged immigration. You have rallied around a cult leader, Donald Trump. That is insane or stupid or insanely stupid. Trump and his followers like you are a danger to our country. I'll tell you that until Trump is no longer a factor of any kind.
Here is the problem I see. And this exists beyond what the political parties are actually doing.
There are individuals, who believes they are morally superior, "If you disagreed with me on taxes or military spending or education or even guns and abortion, that would be fine with me..." then in the next few lines, "he's a great guy despite being wrong on those things."
There is a belief by one side that, "I am correct, and all these other people who do not agree with me are not only wrong but they are morally less than I am." This belief has led to a "by any means necessary" mentality. The scary part is, this is applied to FEELINGS not many tangible things.
I am not talking about the parties, I am talking about people. I understand that politically parties may do things that members within don't agree with. I am fine with abortion. period. not my cup of tea, but I shouldn't have the ability to say what other people should do. My political party's influence created something I do not like. That is something that I have contacted my representatives to express my emotions.
But what I as a person am not willing to throw away our constitution and laws because it is more important to get rid of someone that offends us or we find morally wrong. It is getting to the point where there are people that identify with/as the democratic party would be willing to bend laws, break laws, exaggerate claims to have the government rummage through a potential presidential nominee.
Think about that, the Democratic led government is currently rummaging through a potential republican nomination for president. How is this not suspicious? Let alone the claim that they were classified are so easily defended by Trump because the process can be so easily completed. Those who are saying there were no standing orders were all former staff and acknowledge that it could have been introduced after them. Even if he didn't it would so difficult to prove otherwise that no conviction will ever come about. I'm not saying it would be right, but to say that those in power don't now this is ridiculous.
So really, this is a mock trial in which people can demonstrate their feelings of moral superiority in order to persecute a potential political threat in terms of power all while saying they are fair balanced people.
You are fanatics who would most likely agree to have a part in a former president's death if you wouldn't get caught because he is so evil. That's sick.

Your party is literally trying to cancel college tuition debt right now. A move which would primarily benefit doctors and lawyers and people in the top 20% of earners.
The problem is people like you are too stupid to understand anything.
You're told to be upset so you run out and pretend you're upset.
I'd like to see income tax go away completely. Let's go to a consumption tax so the drug dealers and the billionaires are all paying taxes.

What quehoares really means is that he has posted here under other names and is bigly angry at all of the downvotes he has won.
It's a fair question. An important question. But the answer is complex and multi-faceted. A lot of nuances. I'm not sure many here would understand the answer. I can tell you that, generally, the answer involves and requires an understanding of the degree of Trump's deeply held Christian beliefs and his love of America.
Here it is,
At the heart of it is that Trump is the boy who would say what can't be said. That is the prime move, and to understand this is to understand why everything that follows will seemingly make no sense. Why? Because we can't tell you.
What he is said is that immigrants and minorities are stealing your country, eating your lunch, taking your jobs, buying your neighbor's house, and going to your children's schools! Because the thought of that is so repulsive, he paints them as rapists, drug dealers, whatever, as long as you will hate them as much as him, or more importantly, simply exclude/banish them.
No, that's not it. What you typed is essentially the meme that the New York Times was caught (via recordings of internal newsroom discussions) deciding to run with after Russia-gate failed. "Because they're all racists!" became the primary and default reasoning to explain Trump across nearly all mainstream media. As appealing as the theory is, it doesn't work logically and has little factual support.
Nay, the explanations for the hypocrisy and paranoia of Trumpism, and the worship of Trump as an idol, are much more complex and much less sinister than his opponents are willing to think through.

I assure you that the left is aware of the complexity of the situation. We've done nothing but examine Trumpism for the last 7 years and we're not exactly closer to a solution.

That was an awful lot to write when you could have just said that you had no idea what you were talking about but that it felt really good to lash out at your favorite bogeyman.

Republicans are not the only party trying to sway low IQ voters. Both parties are guilty of this due to the fact that democratic elections are popularity contests, not mensa competitions. There are plenty of barely literate voters showing up to vote for Democrats. C'mon man, be honest, Biden and Harris are probably two of the dumbest lawyers in America.

Harris would be one of the dumbest fast food workers in America and Biden doesn't know what planet he's on.

It would be easier to list Trump policies that actually are conservative. Right? Much shorter list than the one you propose making.
Just so we are clear, hating Democrats is not a policy. It's a political strategy.

Kamala is very smart. She’s just not a strong politician. Terrible strategy, weak at improvising, lacking in charisma. Her lineage is impressive. Hard to say why she went to Hastings. I’m guessing she could go to a top 20 law school but not a top 5 so she had to take a different route/strategy to power than just doing the Harvard thing.

No one who has ever heard this woman speak thinks she is very smart.
If Harris was white or asian she'd be on her back or flipping burgers.

I don't disagree with what you posted, and illiterates who vote Democrat are in legion. But that's not what I was talking about. I was responding to Adult's false claim that "neocons joined the left when Trump showed up" and "betrayed a lifetime of belief in order to oppose Trump." That's obviously not what happened. It was people like Adult that made a seismic shift into some weird, amorphous, inconsistent bag of Trump ideas/slogans (I hesitate to call anything about Trump an actual policy), thereby betraying a lifetime of supposedly strongly held conservative beliefs.
