The fact that the crew felt compelled to call the police about the guy ( and trust me, my daughter is not someone who would sensationalise anything, nor panic ) and the fact that the police when they arrived, did not just listen to both sides and tell everyone to play nicely, but arrested_the_guy, should prove to you that this was not someone merely interested in following their progress. Why didn't he just run along with Mimi ?

I've also found the website and Facebook for the "film crew" that Mimi brought along to America. It's called Scrumptious Productions of Scotland is looks to be a one woman operation by the name of Carol Cooke. Don't know if she is personal friends with Mimi:

I don't see any good alternatives routes after she get over the 9500+ foot pass. The other roads options are 8000+ to either Denver or Laramie.

At 8:42 (Garmin time) Sandy has climbed over 1000 of the 3500 feet she needs to clear for the early start on "tomorrow's" run. She has less than 30 of her 35 mile addition to go.

Bleh, sorry. That was a facebook live post by the RV driver but it appears only to friends. Anyway, it was just an in-the-RV comment about the weather and plans to run thru the night... RV going ahead 30-35 miles and Sandra running to it, with someone running with her and an extra support vehicle.
