I continue to be puzzled by some posters' inflation of President Trump's victory. He won. Why add something ("landslide" or "trouncing" or "mandate," etc.) that simply and obviously isn't true? Seems to me that saying something like that actually weakens whatever else follows it.
As a seasoned Trump cult observer here is my theory.
1. Trump tells them that he won by a landslide so when Trump says something they believe it.
2. A black woman that had a vote count very, very close to their God-King is so distasteful to them that they must embrace an alternative theory to allow them to keep their viewpoint of Trump at a level it needs to be.
Presbyterians don't hate women or LGBTs or minorities. They promote them. In 2024 the Church added gender identity and sexual orientation to their inclusion list ... meaning that they can become church elders (members of the highest rank).
