Listen, I'm under no illusions about Harris. She hasn't impressed me with her acumen. I am hopeful, but not sanguine, about the prospects of her picking good people to work with.

But I am absolutely confident that Trump would not pick good people to work with, and he has already shown us that he's not interested in doing much work himself. (His spending many hours per day watching television, in his previous tenancy, has made that clear.) I think the difference is stark, and that voting based on the difference makes sense.

I recognize the others may have very different opinions. We'll see how things play out in the coming days.

we all know that the trump campaign is revving up the J6 militia crowd to fight violently after the election. Trump is bellowing about cheating in PA already, even without any votes counted. He's talking about firing squads. He's talking about bringing back to service retired generals who endorse harris so trump can court martial them. He's talking about arresting his political foes. He's talking about arresting social media CEOs.

This is all to normalize more violence like he normalized on J6. Trump knows exactly what he's doing. Unleashing the whirlwind to try to keep his ash out of jail.

Believe me, the black rifle crews in MI and ID are hearing him loud and clear. Cops understand the threat.

Trump's whole campaign has been a sham. Btw, I don't think that's just because they thought it might help him win. I think it's more to set the stage for Plan B (aka their little secret). Ds have to find a way to emotionally engage voters on serious issues like this. There is no other way because the Rs are actively working to help foreign actors undermine our democracy.

Several MAG@s have crossed the line from being gullible tools of Russia to being supporters of Russia in its conflict with the US and its democratic allies. I don't know how this happened, but it needs to be addressed at a national level. How many are there of them? There could be hundreds of thousands of them out there, living amongst us. We know of at least 2 here on LRC. Probably 3.

J6 was terrible, but if Harris wins and there is trumper-led violence on a bigger scale or all around the country that's the opportunity to permanently cripple the trump movement. I'm talking about finally going after R politicians who actively help organize and incite violence. Lock them the fk up and leave the senile trump on the loose so they are stuck with the stone cold loser.

This also comes on the heels of the Daily Beast story form Michael Wolff about how Trump bought a $40 mil mansion out from under Jeffrey Epstein with mostly borrowed money and then flipped it to a Russian oligarch for $96 mil. Epstein also said that Trump's fortune was a mirage built on millions of bad debts that were forgiven. Trump was hiding millions of forgiven debts from the IRS (a forgiven debt is taxable income), which is why he has been fighting the release of his tax records.
