The problem is that most Republicans blame the media for "making up stuff". The media is right in reporting this for as long as its an issue. Both the media and the GOP did the same thing with Benghazi though, they beat it up to death even though nothing new or substantiated was coming out. I don't see a problem, that's just politics and unfortunately they end up wasting tax payer dollars on witch hunts.

On the collusion issue, as far as I know, no one has ever outright accused Trump specifically of colluding with Russia (there is that dossier of course which no one took seriously). So there is no need to act like anyone screamed that he definitely did something. However, based on the ethics issues facing his family, his cabinet members, and the whole Flynn debacle, there may actually be something concrete in terms of his campaign people engaging in some collusion, which of course would naturally come back to him. We need to see what those clowns and Flynn have to say in front of the Intelligence Committees first. As far as I'm concerned, this all helps Trump, it's a free distraction from his incompetence.
