it's sweet how you think the Republican Party, which controls both houses of congress, will push back against executive power 2025-6. Especially when trump has said he will wield the DOJ as a weapon against those who try to constrain his power.
A Republican congressman, to push back against trump, would have to ignore
1/ death threats from ma'ga
2/promise of being primaried from the right
3/threat of being investigated by the DOJ
4/threat of being taken off committees and left to rot
5/ cutoff of campaign funds

As if the bible impels him to do right. As if his Word or oath means anything to him.
