So no half marathon split and Shalane guesses under 1 hour.

Shalane Flanagan is not a good commentator. Her banter is poor and she is ill-prepared (doesn't know any of the pacers-save for the Bowerman guys). Not to be too negative, but she needs work if TV is her future.
Maybe when Kipchoge needs to make a "show of resilience" she'll be risen to the occasion.

How do they not have the ½ split!?!? It’s a marathon. That’s like the most important split to get.
I don't know, but it must have been about 59:55.
Seriously. They have guys on bikes with laptops. It takes more than 3 mins to get a split?
They were on 1:59:50 pace at halfway. You do the math.
For a guy looking to break the world record, being in 6th place is not a good sign.
Centro looking super smooth as always as the captain of this group
The horn is rather annoying
Hit 20k 9s under 2:00 pace!
They couldn’t figure out a drone to fly along with them so we can actually see eliud’s face while running instead of just the faces of the pacemakers?
The crowd seems great - but and loud. And a huge improvement over monza
They’re at least mentioning Bekele briefly now - glad they’re not just ignoring his existence.
If they mention how the presence of trees makes the air more oxygenated again I’ll have to mute the tv for a bit.

11 seconds under. Listen.
11 seconds under is his projected pace so that probably means he was 59:55.
This post was removed.
I think Eliud would do better without the horn. He's a calm guy.
*Big* and loud

The race itself seems to be professional, but the broadcast is abysmal. Bad camera angle, can't see Kipchoge, boring commentators, no data, no info about the pacers, no info about Kipchoge other than he's "great".

Correct GR, Mi, that's what I think he meant.

Like how Breaking 2 had Tadese and Desisa racing as well, who do you think should've been a part of INEOS if there were more than just Kipchoge (don't say Bekele even though he has the speed. He ran that way to close to INEOS race day for him to be a serious consideration)
I think Mosinet Geremew or legheuse (instead of running fast mid speeds in Berlin)
Both of them would be great. I'd also add Geoffrey Kamworor. He just ran the half-Marathon WR and his PR in the Marathon was 2:06 way back in 2012. With how much better he is at the half and full marathon compared to Tadese (actually hydrating during the marathon unlike Tadese pre-Breaking2), I think Kamworor could be in 2:02-2:03 shape right now
My dad who knows nothing about running:
“Does the women commentator change out as well? I have had enough of her.”
They should talk about which guys wear gold chains and what distance is it appropriate to retire the gold chain. If I were a pro, I would be totally pro chain.
