GVSU seems to have a lot of new faces, great depth! Where have duff and Pageua been in the results though? Duff was top 12 at gliacs in 2012 and has run 1437, Pageau was 7th last year and has run under 1430. Seems like they should be able to make their top ten at least...

1) Malone has been underrated all season long.
2) USI has a great top 2 but then a sizable gap before their 3. Their 3-4-5 aren't together and are too far back. This will hurt them at nationals if occurs there.
Every runner on Malone's squad today seemed to have ran 30 seconds faster than the previous meet. Which tells me the course was really fast or everyone had the same peak today.
I don't discount their times but also its hard to compare times when each course is different. You might have a team run on a moderate course and run 25's meanwhile a team like Malone runs on a racetrack and produces fast times.
There is still a month in the season and I'm cautious to say Malone is "underrated". They haven't beat any great/good team. Correct me if I'm wrong. Ashland usually comes on strong towards the end so you can look at the All-Ohio with some skepticism.
Malone has a history of running good during mid season but haven't produced a national championship qualifying team in years. It's the same thing over and over...running fast in october and sinking in November.
We shall see on November 8th. But even then, the regionals is on Nov. 22. If Malone ran fast today I'm skeptical they can keep it going for another month.

Malone beat Ashland at the All-Ohio meet. They finished 3 points behind USI today. They've had a good pack all season. I'm prepared to say they've been underrated all season.
The course today was really flat and fast. It should be accurate as they are hosting nationals there in two years (or at least I hope). Malone was really strong today. Malone came very close to beating USI, and could take them out at Regionals on a great day. Hillsdale still ran strongly without Mirth. My Prediction for GLIAC: 1. GVSU 2. Malone 3. Hillsdale (pack puts them over ashland) 4. Ashland 5. Ferris State. 6. Wayne State
Wayne state looked good at a not so fast course at lake superior state today. Ferris state brought their B team, Lake superior state ran decent, definitely missing dueling. Northwood didnt perform to well

I'm neutral as far as Malone goes. I went to another GLIAC school LONG before Malone joined the conference. Fanboy argument? I call it as I see it. If 'my' team wasn't running well I wouldn't sugar coat it. I know, weird. Honest opinion.
Southern Indiana has two all Americans. Malone is the real deal. I still don't have faith or confidence in hillsdale. Ferris has a few new names, no Gerber? I wish GV and Ashland were there. I'm surprised Wayne State chose not to go. They won't make it out of the region, but they have a nice team. Conference should be a great race.
Malone is, and always will be, THE giant crushers of the midwest. Did any of you read Roush's log after outdoor conference? They are beyond confident in their abilities and will win the gliac.

ARE YOU Fing KIDDING ME! THEY ARE THE BOMB! I currently run for a school in the RMAC and wish I could transfer to Malone. My coach won't give me a release, so that isn't a possibility... I will always bleed Red and White. MCC FOR LIFE! AMEN!
