Looks like the second group of 3 are working together to help pace. Shalane already lapping people, 5000m in 15:40, then a 50m gap to Goucher and then a 50m gap to the trio.
well that's that - goucher behind a standard pace at 12 laps. 31:47 now
15:40 at 5k for Shalane.
31:20 pace.
I don't think Kara gets 2nd.
