Running Tights - Shorts Over or Not?

Why not running pants over tights? That will keep you warm and not make you look like a dweeby superhero.

I really dont see the problem. How is worse than wearing short shorts with a 3 inch seam? In all honesty I prefer seeing someone wearing tights than seeing some pale upper thigh.

In the early 80's when tights were first introduced in the running market, lots of funners wore their shorts over their tights, but no anymore.

I wear shorts over tights on windy days in the winter. Gotta protect the core, you know.

I wear compression shorts with wind brief under tights.

How about jeans over tights?

Bump until I get closure. I'm not satisfied until everyone agrees that...

Acceptable:

1) Running in just split shorts

2) Running in just half tights

3) Running in just tights

4) Running with briefs, shorts, half tights on UNDER tights

5) Running with briefs, shorts, half tights, or tights UNDER running pants

Unacceptable:

1) Running in basketball shorts

2) Running with shorts OVER tights

Never happen.

Here is me a couple years ago. I did only have half-tights.

This could be the best picture in the history of shorts over tights racing ever taken. I am not even in the picture and I count 6!!

It was like a freaking shorts over tights convention at the start line.

Going through the whole race photos individually, there were 20 runners wearing shorts over tights and 9 (all women) wearing only tights.

Re #4. Wrong. Thou shall not wear anything under tights except maybe a second pair of tights.

Re Unacceptable #2: Shorts over short tights is at worst a hobby jogger move, I think it's often fine. Shorts over long tights is almost always unacceptable.

Shorts under tights protects from chafing and chilling of rather sensitive regions.

Your extensive photo research confirms that "Shorts over tights" is allowed only at "Jingle Jogs," "Reindeer Runs," "Santa Shuffles," and "Egg Nog Jogs."

My running tights are see through I like running in them I get laughs, giggles , hysteria and whistles comments, and heaps of praise , people talk to you and run past again and again to get a better 2nd and 3rd look. I get pics taken and have had so many young girls say " I like your tights " or " wow nice tights " . they leave nothing to the imagination and I do it in a nice way that people just ran past and turn their head and think "did I just see what I think I did" . I am a 30 year old male well developed and body builder I love the attention and worry if I am an exhibitionist and I wear as least as possible and get away with a socially excepted form of flashing. I have addidas spandex they are so so see thru and I dont wear anything underneath. I actually wear a few large elastic bands strategically placed to enhance the bulge and lunch box look. I love my junk and so do thousnads of girls who have seem me over the past 10 years , I am a socially accepted exhibitionist and it seems I get away with it becuase they like it and I even chat to groups when I am out and I get lots of "hello's" and smiles so I think I win. so all you prudes out there if ya got it flaunt it. google me type in mikaloviche ( spell it this way go to lycraman/gallery/guest scroll down and click on CLICK HERE

Nothing under at all I prefer to free dog and just have the size small or extra small spandex and pref in skin coloured in the rain or after excessive sweat become see thru and all the girls can see your junk so nothing under and free loose and proud ( not in that way) but I love the reaction whisltes, comments, laughs hysteria giggles all good keep running and jiggling your junk try not to get a full blown xxxx unless your comfortable and u see a chance to get away with it
