i certainly beleive that this boxer is a 46 xy dsd person, but the fact remains that ll the ioc did was correct the transgender issue. they did not specifically state it wasnt a dsd issue. they did not state this was a dsd case and so oyur leap of logic, in this small statement, is too far. putting everythng else together however, it is no doubt correct.

The IOC accidentally said that it 'wasn't a DSD issue' and then formally corrected this to change the wording to 'wasn't a trans issue'. If they were 100% certain that they aren't dsd, there is no feasible reason on earth for them to make a formal retraction, as saying they aren't DSD would just be another factual statement about two females. No reason whatsoever to retract if that was the case. But, of course, they are 5ARD.

You know that there’s a difference between sex and gender? Sex is a biological trait while gender has to do with how you’re perceived in society. This is how many cultures throughout history have had three or more genders in their societies.
It’s difficult because she was born this way but I don’t think you can have someone with that level of testosterone like this boxer competing against women, especially in a combat sport.

It would be trivial for the IOC to conduct a genetic test on this boxer. Why not vindicate her? It's a blood test, and not invasive, time-consuming or expensive. This test is conducted on literally millions of babies in utero in the US every year now. This boxer had been banned by her federation and declined to appeal. Why would the IOC not follow up and determine her biological sex? And further, why is the mainstream media not asking this question and instead simply discrediting the boxing federation?
I keep hearing about how it's "complicated." If a person's gender is complicated, they should not be eligible to compete at the OLYMPIC level as a woman.

The IOC doesn’t have the power to do its own testing. Khelif is eligible to compete and nothing can be done about it during these Olympics.

If you never go through male puberty, you never become a man. Some 46 XY DSD's prevent males from developing into men because they prevent male puberty.
Male advantage in physical activity is present from birth. Look at any kid's sport. Males have a physical advantage in sports before puberty and it is enhanced after puberty. Puberty blockers do nothing to blunt this advantage. They just bad for those whoe take them.
