I wish Vista would have raced today. Would have more data. From the results it appears they had several girls sit this week and there 2nd squad was 4th place. Would have been good to see the competition. Fossil Ridge looked great, and Niwot looked slim with some missing girls. Chap looked pretty solid too. Gosh, Colorado girls looked so good.
Flower Mound really showed that they are continuing their dominance in Texas (despite the loss of the Humphries twins) and can compete with the best teams in the country.
Big wow day for Ventura! Despite not having the new NP transfer, they beat all of the California teams. They got a new freshman who became #3 on their team and now they are 5-deep. Even if Sadie didn’t perform how she wanted, I’m sure she is happier when she found out how her team did. Hopefully Ventura keeps it up and makes it to NXN this year.
I thought that Timpview’s entire team would race in the sweepstakes, but they only raced Hedengren and Alder?

Losing Michalak must have really hurt Air Academy a lot, even though no one else graduated. I guess it really helps to have a leader like that to look up to every day.

Michalak had nothing to do with it. They raced the 'A' team girls at Liberty Bell last week. No way they are going to race a bunch as they probably have at Desert Twilight, NXR and NXN. Cannot dig in the well too much...

I think you might be too hopeful. Injuries are plaguing the AA team. I truly hope they can get their athletes back to healthy before the end of the season. It's not fun to beat people or be beat because of injury.
