It is impossible to gauge the damage that Trump did with his election interference. We can't measure it. But this scheme was designed to hide from the American People, information that they could take into the voting booth to decide who should be president. Because Trump lost the popular vote but narrowly won the swing states needed an argument can be made that this contributed to Trump gaining office. And think of the damage that Trump has done to this country since he took office. Think of disdain he has caused people to have for respected institutions like the FBI, Federal Elections, Our Judicial System, Our Press, Our congress, The office of the President, The thousands of people with criminal records because they headed his call to march the capitol based on lies.

The timing of the Stormy Daniels hush money is significant. It happened almost at the same time as the "grab em by the p#ssy" video. Trump's camp responded that it was just locker room talk. The evangelical base of the Republican party could have been tipped with a revelation that Trump had an affair with a porn star. And that could have caused them to not turn out for Trump which could have swung the election to Clinton.
What is amazing is that it is perfectly legal for Trump or a friend or family member to directly pay Stormy Daniels to enter into a NDA to keep quiet about the affair. But Trump got into this mess because he concocted a scheme to use campaign funds to do it. That means that one of two things likely happened. Trump may not have cared about the affair going public and it was the people on his campaign that wanted to get Daniels to sign an NDA. So, Trump probably told them that he wasn't going to go out of pocket to pay off Daniels and wanted the campaign to use its funds. Or Trump had no cash on hand to be able to pay off Daniels and had to use campaign funds.

I know I should not care about this, but all the downvotes are confusing me. I want to clarify. My post has nothing to do with Biden or Trump, specifically. It is merely a reminder that all citizens should be wary of voting away their own rights because it "owns" the other side. This has, indeed, happened so many times in history, particularly in the most egregious and violent times.
Consider the holocaust, when German citizens of southern or eastern European descent went along with the resettlements and restrictions against Jewish citizens because it made their lives easier (business, property, politics, culture, etc.), only to find themselves as a target once the Nazi Party was in full power. Just a reminder to think about the consequences of rights and liberties you willingly give away, because the absence of those liberties and rights could come back to impact your own life, sometimes gravely.
