MIAC 2024 Cross Country

IVW was hurt for outdoor. He was definitely in 29:30 shape at a minimum.

I’m more excited to see the rematch of the River Falls dad and Power. And also I think Stevens Point has a good chance to beat St. Olaf.

This is quite serious if true. We all know he’s turning athletes away, but this is the first I’ve heard about such poor treatment of his own team. One would assume the college has proper channels to report this to bias offices and administrators and will be dealt with appropriately.

I, for one, can’t imagine running for someone who can’t even run across the cross country course. If he gave me a one of his dumb workouts, I’d be skeptical since he clearly only knows what he reads online and has stolen from other coaches. He hasn’t done the sport like other MIAC coaches and that’s so important in running.

Carleton picked to host the 2026 XC Championships!

Rumor has it that the officials will be required to wear Hawaiian shirts.

A more truthful rumor is that the Oles tried to put a bid in to steal the championship away from Carleton. It appears they were unsuccessful. Another L for Power

Although the Oles seem to be doing quite well, the big question that remains is: where the hell is Owen Chamberlin?

Vincent Kaluza had an impressive run, placing 10th in 25:08. A good snapshot of St Johns at roughly full strength (no Bartness) -- enough to possibly push into top 10 regional rankings unless Mac and/or Carleton step it up in a couple hours from now.

Oles barely beat some school I've never heard of. They win, but lets face it, the MIAC is down. Still no Gabe or Indy for Carleton.

The Oles were behind the whole race except the final K. Sort of the opposite of last race where they almost gave it away after front running. Someone help Power figure out a strategy.

What a crazy race. Oles were behind with 1K to go but then Kevin Turlington moved up 138 spots and Parker Max moved up 160 spots. Absolute DOGS! Can you imagine what they would have done if they had been in the top 100 going into the last K?
