That’s not to say it’s wholly impossible that a corrupt DC establishment would just crush an outsider; it’s just that this guy isn’t the test case for that.
C’mon, it’s an impossibility for any type of outsider to run unless they have serious money.

One doesn't have to be a woke, partisan liberal to be aware enough to know that Biden doesn't control the vote of a couple of dozen Florida citizens based on the evidence presented to them. Whether one is conservative or liberal, it is hard to escape the fact that Trump was an absolute idiot in this matter. He was asked to give back documents several times and decided he was above the law and would delay and negotiate. That alone put him in the sights for a obstruction charge, and he did it in plain sight (while repeatedly misinterpreting the Presidential Records Act and the Nixon documents case). I've been discussing the matter with several GOP attorneys today and they all agreed that Trump's actions scream: "I'm guilty but I dare you to indict me".
I don't have enough information to opine on the witness tampering and evidence destruction charges except to point out that Federal prosecutors rarely bring a charge unless they have fairly solid evidence (the exception of Durham who lost both of his cases originating from his recent investigation).

You seem unable to stay on point. The point was that Trump essentially convicted himself with his actions and statements.
As for me, I didn't explicitly or implicitly advocate for a two-tiered system of justice. If Biden deserves prosecution, then I'm fine with him being prosecuted and have never advocated otherwise. So far, his documents situation is different because, like Pence, he invited the DOJ/FBI to come in and take everything. So there is no obstruction, conspiracy to obstruct or willful retention after discovery (three major charges for Trump).
As for potential charges for Biden on influence peddling, the only thing the GOP has so far is an allegation by a person who has no personal knowledge of an incident but claims he was told about it be someone who did claim to have knowledge. It is alleged evidence that was reviewed by Trump's AG and rejected.
So it appears that you are a fact-free partisan claiming that I am partisan because I am using the facts before us rather than a conclusion dictated by politics.
