New LRC Not So Much Fun - Is The Site Moderated Too Much Now?

I restored some posts in this thread. Someone had a homophobic username. It was deleted. Then the thread went off why that post was deleted. The mods should have just explained why the post was deleted.

Someone else asked why their thread on a lady who died in Canada at hospital while masked or unmasked. We don't allow all topics to stay up. We try and limit the # of covid/masks threads.

We are adding reasons to show why threads were deleted and need to add a reason for non-running threads that are deleted do to moderator discretion. We have 1 main forum and generally don't want too many non-running threads to take it over.

Why do the moderators keep deleting this post? What about it is low content? Robert, have you changed your mind about this thread? Is it no longer a place to discuss moderation?

Look, nobody owes me anything here. But it would be courteous to get a real explanation as to what is going on.

I’ll say it again: I used to come to the site a lot. Now I don’t come so much. The moderators make the place very unpleasant. I have spent too much time on threads, reading and replying, just see it all disappear. I see moderators delete responses just because they don’t like them, with no apparent standard applied.

How about making the month of April Moderation Free?
