Very happy for Luis. I’m a 🇬🇹->🇺🇸 man and it makes me glad to see another one do well in a sport where your home country is all but unseen.
I had no idea who he was until the other night. Now I am a fan. He runs well, runs near the front, isn't afraid to lead..and seems to be just a great guy. You could tell tonight how much so with the way Jakob interacted with him.
Need a replay but if Mo sabotaged Grant with that massive stride of his
I thought he was tripped, too, but the replay seems to show him just stepping on the rail with his RIGHT foot. There was no unusual motion by Ahmed at that moment.
No racing instincts for Grant. He clearly was hoping to pass on the inside. Not surprised he got clipped. Either need to be in front and ride the rail or stay with on the shoulder of the Kenyan. Not much different than his 10k tactics.
What an anti-climactic race. Disappointed. Ethiopian men shut out again.
Krop knew what he was doing. That race was all about raw speed and positioning.
Can’t believe they have not devoted more attention to the Fisher trip on the Peacock feed. Jakob was amazing. Don’t recall seeing somebody go for water x 2 and win going away.
Grant always puts himself in a bad finishing position. He is always boxed in. He had a chance to get on the outside of lane 1 around 250. I don't understand what he is doing. That is not how you race with 200 to go.
Just like the 10k terrible positioning for Fisher. Does he think guys will just give up the inside position? Not smart racing. And too bad, clearly he's fit.
