Both women legs were really sub-standard. Felix gave up a 25 meter lead. And Simon, well... Why not run your best female 400 runners in this like other countries did?
usa athletes and coaches not willing to sacrifice for relays? this kind of thing happens when you don't respect the team aspect of the sport.
Godwin was incredible. Norwood damn good ...Too bad the US did not put a decent woman on that team. why not Athing Mu for a tune up race for the 800m on Weds??
im sorry u had to put a better 400 runner on that. Britton Wilson? Talitha Diggs?? for Felix’s last race cmon
Felix should not have been there either. We have plenty of other women we could have put out there and the two that we used let the team down. We should take this relay more seriously. Britton Wilson should been allowed to run it and earn a medal. She would not have been walked down like both our women

Yeah Mu could have just used this 400 as a workout and then done a couple fast 200s afterwards too

yup. this is frustrating. no reason this can't fit into her preparation schedule.

Or even McLaughlin. Her only possible competition in Bill ran, so no chance at being at a disadvantage for her main event.
Norwood should’ve made a more aggressive move on the backstretch, Felix did not attack the first 200 and looked like she was in cruise control the whole time.
Less talk about me, more about the current athletes.
I was surprised by Bracy’s time. I know the goal was just to win, but it looked faster to me.
Man did Kerley nail that start, but he stalled a bit in his drive phase. He got up and pulled his way to 9.79, but he needs to be careful.
Bromell looked to me like he had too much back-side action—which , given how he ran at nats, means that he was just cruising. He also needs to be careful. Better off going with solid form all the way through, like Bracy.
AHSB was shocking, that is maybe the best I have ever seen from him, although he still needs to relax.
Seville won his heat, but was gripping. Maybe the moment is too big for him. He will go nowhere if he doesn’t relax in the semis.
