Money is fleeing the US and going to Europe and competitor nations because the US is no longer a functioning Constitutional democracy. Congress has handed almost all power to a demented old fool who thinks a trade deficit is a 'rip-off' and has the morals and ethics of a mob boss. He will keep declaring phony national emergencies to grab more and more power and money for himself. This is not good for the stock market.

OPEC+ is boosting output and looks to finally be following through on Saudi threats to (once again) claw back market share from US frackers. Lower energy prices will help counter some (relatively small amount) of the inflation that will come with Trump's tariffs. But price shocks in the oil markets hit frackers hard, even after years of consolidation in the industry and huge advances in efficiency from the days of the fracking crash in 2015. And Trump's tariffs will hit US frackers because the industry is dependent on oil field pipe from China and other countries that are subject to tariffs.
The US fracking industry is one of the biggest employers providing very well paying jobs to people in rural areas where the big shale formations are producing. If people making $90-120k working on oil platforms in ND, TX, AR, PA, etc. suddenly are out of work as frackers scale back operations, Trump will not be able to blame Biden or neo-liberal trade policies.
