With all the evidence on the table , you can no longer say that Trumpers support Trump despite him being racist. We must conclude they support Trump because they are themselves racist. .
Recent statements by Trump about Harris are pretty clearly racist and misogynist. Right wing media is doing the same. Inside that bubble, it is portrayed as a normal political attack or undermining of Harris' credibility.

I have met a few Trump supporters who believe they are not racists and a few who are openly racists. To one denying racism, I quoted multiple racist statements of Trump to one of them and he said "I don't see it" as a racist remark. He also said all Constitutional Amendments after the Bill of Rights are illegal. So I asked "Women shouldn't vote and slavery should not have been abolished?" He shrugged. So I concluded that some may not believe themselves racists, but are OK with racism and willing to look the other way. But isn't that just a passive racist?

What I was hearing today was that, yes, this deal at this time suggests that Putin is not confident that Trump will win.
However, the German Chancellor who agreed to release a Russian who had been convicted of murder in Germany did it specifically because of Biden. Seems unlikely that the deal would have gotten done without Germany, and Germany would not have made the deal if Trump was in the White House. I point this out because Trump and his followers only denigrate our alliances, and seem to feel that our alliances are a one way street. Trump never recognizes that, sometimes, the United States benefits significantly from its allies, and having strong allies can pay off for us.

This - Trump is making it very hard to vote for him and still maintain that you aren't a racist.
There are some people that don't care if they are labeled a racist. There's another group that's starting to squirm at the company that they are keeping.
