Who’s Garrett?
Actually discusses how he built the Georgia program to compete in the SEC and nationally. Identified a market inefficiency and took advantage of it. Then goes on to speculate if he will attack the same market inefficiency at Illinois or identify a new one applicable to the B1G. Than talks about where he might find athletes including identifying one specific source. It’s about the strategic thinking that might go into building a program and what he does says a lot about how smart he is.
The fact that you didn’t get anything out of it says more about you than the author. And what it says is you don’t think strategically.

I've been saying for years, only the most elite coaches have the courage to try to turn their own last name into an entire philosophy. Personally, I was getting concerned that I wouldn't be able to make my athletes accomplishments all about me, this seems like a perfect solution... That's KHADEVISM

If you are an athlete who enjoys watching your leader text on their phone as you run by then this would be a great fit for you. Couldn't tell you how many times coaches have run into his giant a$$ trying to coach along the sidelines while KD stands there like a 6'4 stone monument for failure.
That's not the reason this is a bad hire though.

On the Eastern Washington job, the word is that Yogi Teevens is in the running for that position, assuming she can get some decent assistants. Supposedly her son is enrolling there after being in the portal after Washington State.
