John Adam’s had it wrong. In case you forgot, we are referring to the US Constitution. The Constitution was written years after and he was outnumbered when the ink hit the paper so,
Why did we kill Redcoats AFTER the Constitution was written, and not arrest them?
The Revolutionary War ended in 1783.
The US Constitution was created in 1787 and became effective in 1789.
Do you really not know these things?
My guess is that, out of embarrassment, he will mot reply and will not post under that name for a bit, but I imagine he has several others to use.
America has a high success rate in foreign wars. Near 100%. And unlike your scumbaggital Russian friends, America acts morally in foreign wars.

Makes no difference. We are debating the intent of the founding fathers who wrote the words. Did they write them for citizens or illegals and my point was proven. So, unless you have something better to offer then it’s a done deal.
Why did we kill Redcoats after the ratification AND the War if they believed in due process for foreigners?
The only answer is that they did not.
And why did Ashli Babbitt not get your version of due process and not a word of defense for her? Are we to assume that big grown *ss cop with a badge and gun could not catch up to a girl climbing through a window? You cannot just gun someone down because a girl has a backpack. Never is that allowed, except for your convenient story telling.

Guess again chump. Why in the World would I be embarrassed? I’m sipping Champagne. I only post under this name, and it’s registered. I don’t mind debating bots, it’s kind of fun disabling them actually.

So, you are simply living a fact free existence.
Understood
Redcoats were also sent home after the War. Even citizens, for that matter, were sent to Canada. Not court. Anybody who supported the crown were sent on their way, whether they liked it or not. They didn’t get liberal lawyers to talk to liberal judges and a liberal jury. They were sent packing. No chance to plead their case. Just gtfoh. The Constitution is a privilege bestowed on Americans who supported America. That is the intent. End of story.
Actually, John Adams defended a bunch of Redcoats after the Boston Massacre of 1770, believing they were entitled to a fair trial (6 were acquitted, 2 were convicted of manslaughter).

The Treaty of Paris ended the American Revolutionary War in 1783.
The US Constitution was drafted in 1787 and came into force in 1789.

You mean that they didn’t follow the Geneva Convention (written in the 20th Century) with respect to POWs?

Just a standard maga deflection and diversion technique. They can't defend the actions of Trump with the Constitution, the law, and most definitely not the truth. So they try to obfuscate the conversation to some parallel. But of course, that is not true either.
Nobody is answering your question because it's a stupid irrelevant question being asked by a stupid irrelevant moron. The relevant question is, what legal precedent shows that the 5th amendment only applies to citizens?
Nobody is answering the question because I won the debate, and dropped the mic. That is a wrap. You were a decent challenger but, in the end, hang your head in defeat.
Americans killed Redcoats after the ratification of the Constitution without any thought of your version of due process. You see, in the end, we did not write the Constitution for them, as they were not citizens.
In which we remember how openly Trump has always solicited and accepted bribes, esp from foreigners. Shame on Republicans for looking the other way. This continues to this day, but on a vastly larger scale, with trump accepting bribes via many paths, including his crypto scam.
Just one more way trump slashes and burns the Constitution. Reminder:
The emoluments clause of the US Constitution prohibits federal officeholders from receiving gifts, payments, or other things of value from foreign states or their rulers.

Trump 1 Scandal Blotter
In which we see the inklings of how Trump would eliminate checks and balances over his years in office, declaring congress basically null and void and edging toward ignoring the courts when they balance his power. No major laws have been passed, but we've had radical change in our country - all by executive orders. That's Trump eliminating congress as a check or balance on his power.
He's just not a fan of the concept of a constitutional democratic republic, boys. He's a dictator and will spend all his time in office eroding checks and balances trying to create a monarchy in America.

Trump 1 Scandal Blotter
In which we remember Trump has always surrounded himself with fellow criminals and amoral thieves. And he puts then in the Cabinet, to his and our eternal shame.
Here we remember EPA chief Scott Pruitt who had to recuse because he had loathed and sued his own department. Given his crookedness he survived only one year before 14 FOURTEEN!!!! investigations forced him out.
A Republican member of congress said this: Pruitt's "corruption scandals are an embarrassment to the Administration, and his conduct is grossly disrespectful to American taxpayers."

Does everyone here remember the furor of right wing media when Obama wore a tan suit in the summer?
I have to think that if he had made the White House post a photo of himself dressed up as the Pope following Benedict’s resignation, that a majority of the House would have voted for impeachment and or they would have called for invoking the 25th Amendment to remove him from office for mental defect.

I doubt that but, agreed, there would have been a massive uproar. Trump an agitator though. Important part of his game.
