Buttigieg was a DEI pick. What qualifications did he have? Mayor of the thriving metropolis of South Bend? Decorating bridges? Liking trains? Or just being gay?

If “person”’only referred to citizens, then the “except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States” would be unnecessary. This clearly shows that the writers of the constitution considered “person” and “citizen” to be different.

It's not a tax increase. My family's taxes were cut by roughly $25k because of the TCJA and we're only upper middle class. I'd be fine with paying more at the store in exchange for lower taxes and making things in America.
