Here is the NFLX 10-K from the supposed “blow out” report. Refer to page 16 and ask yourself if the $6.5 Billion in debt and increasing negative cash flow makes this even a remotely reasonable investment?

The fact that Igy changed the allocation after only 3 years (or less) is an admission that he was wrong three years ago. Or worse.

It may be better for them that he moved to the more aggressive allocation he just posted than the one he probably had them in

3 years ago during his "Cash is King" strategy. I guess you can't prepare for the end of a cycle any to early.

What Igy posted is what insiders refer to as a “CG plan”. It’s designed as a Commission Generator. You start by selling the unsuspecting client on a portfolio of numerous components that each generates a commission (and often a kickback) for the seller. Then after a few years you convince the poor schmuck that the portfolio needs to be rebalanced which, of course, generates more commissions/kickbacks. Do the same every few years and the investment “adviser” keeps lining his pockets for the life of the poor schmuck. It’s not very ethical, but unfortunately far too common.

A good investment adviser will put you into only a few investments that will rarely need any external rebalancing.
