Abortion has dropped way down as an issue. States are already giving it to the PEOPLE to Vote, which is what everyone wanted. Like Ronald Reagan, I believe in the EXCEPTIONS for Rape, Incest, and the Life of the Mother. Many States are already done, others are moving to a vote now. A 52 year contentious issue will finally be coming to a close. The focus now is on the broken Border, Inflation and the Economy!
Abortion is still way up as a driving issue of this election.
The border issues are always there. It’s just a dog whistle when a Dem is in charge. Inflation has steadily been trending down the last two years. All major economic indicators are going in a positive direction. Trump’s tariffs will send that the other way.
This is the first national election since Trumps’s Justices gave abortion to the states and a number of states banned it. People want NATIONAL protection for reproductive rights, not at the whim of any state. Millions have been waiting for this chance to vote on it as the most important issue of 2024.
CORRECT!
Harris wins even without the abortion thing, but the abortion thing will make it so that the states she does win are by a pretty good margin (the only states that will be VERY close is if she flips a red state).
remember the good times of the Biden admin before the Rs screw up again and run us into the ditch.
Bush 2 did it, Trump did it, Trump will do it again.
Erik Brynjolfsson @erikbryn · 23h The Prime-age Labor Force Participation Rate is now the highest it's been in over 20 years. The US economy is performing historically well.
Trump won't do it again. Harris really is going to win.
Maryland is an example of how important national abortion rights are. It’s normally an easy Democrat win for President and Senate.
But popular two term Republican Governor Larry Hogan is running for Senate. An excellent chance to flip a Senate seat from Democrat to Republican. Almost all adds by Democrat Angela Alsobrooks is that you can’t vote for Hogan because he will caucus with Republicans and give Republicans control of the Senate.
Even though he’s likable. Hogan is trailing in the polls because he is being aligned with Republican efforts to have a national abortion ban. And that angle is working for Democrats.
Like abortion will ever be made illegal in Maryland. Overturning Roe sent it back to the states
You are a complete evil sadistic moron and I hope you rot. Yes, he was hit by a bullet, as were others behind him and one die!!!!!!!!! You are a disgusting lying piece of human "sh*t".
Correct!
If Trump didn't turn his head, Melania would be a widow today.
I will take this opportunity to once again say how glad I am that Trump was not assassinated. We have no place for that in this country.
If you cross all your fingers and toes and WISH REAL HARD, that just might come true...oh, but it isn't and it won't.
Democracy is first and foremost on the ballot, but secondly (and connected, of course) is the abortion issue.
Doesn't REALLY matter though as Harris wins no matter what (well, unless she dies or aliens from another planet come down here and make us vote for Trump). It's over.
1) I don't regularly tell people how smart I am at all. Not sure where you get that from. I challenge you to find two posts even within 3 months of each other where I mentioned how smart I am. I've probably only mentioned my smartness a handful of times EVER on this site, and only in response to a specific person I was talking to, not as a general statement.
2) I have NEVER mentioned how "worldly" I am...not once since I started posting here in 2001.
3) Regarding saying, "Harris is going to win. It's over," who said I was trying to be sophisticated? Trumpers are stupid, and they need things said to them multiple times for them to even begin to grasp what is being communicated. So, I will continue to tell them that a LOT until this election is over. And, if you were wondering, just because I call Trumpers stupid doesn't mean I am saying I am smart. They can be stupid, and I could also be stupid or average or anywhere along the intelligence scale.
In case anyone was wondering, Harris is going to win. It's over.

Maybe some people in Maryland are worried about people that aren’t in Maryland.

Imagine being so out of touch with the ordinary American that you think someone struggling to put food on the table is concerned about abortion.
Like abortion will ever be made illegal in Maryland. Overturning Roe sent it back to the states
The people of Maryland know having Republicans control the Senate is bad for the people of Maryland. Sending abortion to the states was step one for Republicans. Step two would be national ban. A national ban cannot happen without Republican control of the Senate.
Also some Marylanders will move some day or their children will. They want a country where reproductive rights are protected nationally.
Forsyth, Cherokee, Coweta and a bunch of other big R counties are running 200-300% higher in turnout on the day already compared to Fulton/Dekalb/Clayton.
Views of Harris have turned more negative since August, when equal shares of voters viewed her favorably and unfavorably. Now, the unfavorable views are dominant by 8 percentage points, 53% to 45%. Moreover, voters give Harris her worst job rating as vice president in the three times the Journal has asked about it since July, with 42% approving and 54% disapproving of her performance. By contrast, views of Trump have turned rosier. Voters recall his time as president more positively than at any point in this election cycle, with 52% approving and 48% disapproving of his performance in office—a 4-point positive job rating that contrasts with the 12-point negative rating for Harris.
Kamala was asked recently her biggest weakness. As usual she struggled answering it and finally said she can't really think on her feet. Huh?!? How many prosecutors can't think on her feet? Do we want a president unable to think on his or her feet? She might have crises going on and she can't think on her feet?
