Fjb is one of the dumbest people on the internet. Imagine posting this and not knowing that it’s a huge self own against conservatives.
FJB is on soft Iggy. (meaning I scroll by and don't read anything) He will go on hard iggy if he keeps spamming this board with right wing Russian funded Twitter influencer posts. Too dumb to engage with.
BTW, I was wondering if our Trumpers would be willing to state before the election which of Trump's insane promises they would say is just "harmless rhetoric to get elected" and which are going to be put into place.
1. Deporting 11 million people?
2. Jailing Democratic lawmakers?
3. Using the military to root out the "enemy within"?
4. 10% tarrifs on all imports?
5. Puting RFK JR in charge of US public health?
6. Eliminated the Department of Education?
7. Pulling communication licenses for media outlets he deems unfair?
Do you think are gambling Trump supporters would be willing to predict in advance which are which?

Sorry for the high number of typos. I admit this one is real bad. I gotta proof read before posting.
It's because people (Republicans) CONTINUE to complain about gas prices (as if the President sets gas prices or ANY prices of ANYTHING).
Doesn't matter. This is all about who will win the election, and it's going to be Kamala Harris. It's over.
Flagpole, I'm no expert on who's who on this thread, but I believe that you regularly tell everyone how smart and worldly you are. Do you REALLY think that that is consistent with feeling the need to tell the Trumpers DOZENS of times per week that, "It's over, Harris is going to win." REALLY, that's consistent with being a super smart, sophisticated guy? You MIGHT be, but THAT ain't.
1) I don't regularly tell people how smart I am at all. Not sure where you get that from. I challenge you to find two posts even within 3 months of each other where I mentioned how smart I am. I've probably only mentioned my smartness a handful of times EVER on this site, and only in response to a specific person I was talking to, not as a general statement.
2) I have NEVER mentioned how "worldly" I am...not once since I started posting here in 2001.
3) Regarding saying, "Harris is going to win. It's over," who said I was trying to be sophisticated? Trumpers are stupid, and they need things said to them multiple times for them to even begin to grasp what is being communicated. So, I will continue to tell them that a LOT until this election is over. And, if you were wondering, just because I call Trumpers stupid doesn't mean I am saying I am smart. They can be stupid, and I could also be stupid or average or anywhere along the intelligence scale.
In case anyone was wondering, Harris is going to win. It's over.
go google ‘conservative southern democrats’ or ‘Dixiecrats.’
do you know absolutely nothing about American history?
Those southern democrats were conservatives.
right wingers. Reactionaries. how anyone can not know this and still post on a political thread…I dunno. morans.
The easiest way to determine which political party retains racist ideology is to see which political party has a conniption fit at the suggested removal of confederate statues, symbols and flags.

Flagpole also says that he doesn't do "low class" things, yet he posts on LRC.

For one, a lot of Trump's policy is bluster. But, as to these points:
1. It's impossible to deport 11 million immediately. But we should prioritize for deportation everyone who has committed a crime and/or uses government services (welfare, housing, public schools, etc). Agree, especially for the first part?
4. Some things should have tariffs.
5. RFK is passionate about health. Government is bloated anyway and he could potentially be a good person for it.
6. Spending more on education doesn't make it better - just look at Baltimore as one example.

Is it because Democrats don't want to be reminded of the Democrats' historical link to slavery?

We're headed to civil war. Neighbor against neighbor. People need to be ready. Secure your homes. Arm yourselves. Do your best to identify the enemy. Learn their tactics.
On election night Nicole, Joy, Larry O'D, Rachel and the rest will have meltdowns on MSNBC, Whoopi, Joy and the rest of the ladies on the View will have their meltdowns, Mike and Joe will have their meltdowns on Morning Joe, Flagpole will have his meltdown, and Hillary will have her meltdown and all will proclaim that Trump is not the legitimate president. Kamala will go back to working at McDonalds and will diverse that slimeball husband. Gov Walz will continue telling lies. January 20 rolls around, Trump is sworn in, and becomes president once again. January 21 Trump will enter the Oval Office and will commence making America great once again. The stock market will take off. Inflation will drop like a Led Zeppelin. Immigration will be under control and all will be fine in the great old US of A.
The ONLY thing you got right in that right-wing fever dream of a post is that the stock market will take off...it will do that no matter who is elected, because the market likes certainty, and knowing who the US President is matters...doesn't matter WHO wins.
Trump says that Barron is helping him with youth outreach.
"So I have a son—he's very smart and tall. Barron. He knows all about you. He knows about guys I've never heard of...and I've gone up 30 points...with young people." pic.twitter.com/sl59wHiwfm
this is one of the big hopes - that women will turn out to vote in bigger numbers than in the past, making this year's polling error in Harris' favor.
Jim Kessler @ThirdWayKessler 9.5 million early votes cast so far in the 7 swing states. 952,866 more women have voted than men, or 55.1-44.9%. The gender gap grew by 87,396 from Thursday. Gender turnout gap is +14% points in MI, +13 in PA, +12 in GA, +10 in WI, +9 in NC, +4 in AZ, -2 in NV. Good for Harris.

Abortion has dropped way down as an issue. States are already giving it to the PEOPLE to Vote, which is what everyone wanted. Like Ronald Reagan, I believe in the EXCEPTIONS for Rape, Incest, and the Life of the Mother. Many States are already done, others are moving to a vote now. A 52 year contentious issue will finally be coming to a close. The focus now is on the broken Border, Inflation and the Economy!
Abortion is still way up as a driving issue of this election.
The border issues are always there. It’s just a dog whistle when a Dem is in charge. Inflation has steadily been trending down the last two years. All major economic indicators are going in a positive direction. Trump’s tariffs will send that the other way.
This is the first national election since Trumps’s Justices gave abortion to the states and a number of states banned it. People want NATIONAL protection for reproductive rights, not at the whim of any state. Millions have been waiting for this chance to vote on it as the most important issue of 2024.
I honestly feel sorry for you that you believe that map. Harris will be a fine President. You'll manage just as well as you would if Trump won (he won't).
Maryland is an example of how important national abortion rights are. It’s normally an easy Democrat win for President and Senate.
But popular two term Republican Governor Larry Hogan is running for Senate. An excellent chance to flip a Senate seat from Democrat to Republican. Almost all adds by Democrat Angela Alsobrooks is that you can’t vote for Hogan because he will caucus with Republicans and give Republicans control of the Senate.
Even though he’s likable. Hogan is trailing in the polls because he is being aligned with Republican efforts to have a national abortion ban. And that angle is working for Democrats.
