Some interesting polls are showing RFK Jr. falling after Harris subbed in for Biden. It now looks like RFK Jr. will be more of a potential Ralph Nader than a Ross Perot. And much of his support seemed to come from voters who did not like Trump but could not stomach voting for Biden. With Harris swapping out for Biden, these voters came back. It is then fair to say that RFK Jr. is mostly pulling votes from Trump at this point. Trump tried to work out a deal with RFK Jr. to get him to drop out of the race or at least endorse trump in exchange for a cabinet spot (HHS). But RFJ Jr. wouldn't budge.
It looks like Shapiro will be Harris' VP pick. She is holding a rally in Philly this weekend that will be the roll out of her VP pick. It would be pretty weird to pick someone else and then hold a rally in Shapiro's backyard. Shapiro is a great campaigner and very popular in PA. He would be a bulwark against claims that Harris is too far left as he is much more centrist. The main liability would be his comments on Palestinian protestors and support for Israel. But that could be translated into a good cop bad coop position on Israel with Harris wagging her finger at Israel over civilian casualties but Shapiro making it clear that the administration will back Israel.

Well, he is authentically a POS. I agree 100% authenticity sells. And victimhood and scapegoating are good ways to connect with people who are suffering. He's really great at that, but that was always Trump. He didn't gain this skill, he was always a POS victim who blamed others.
