It’s hard to muster any sympathy for a group of people who target and execute civilians including women, children, infants, and the elderly. Even more so when they take children hostage. Even more so when they set up their operations in schools, places of worship and hospitals.
If you truly want innocent Palestinians to stop getting killed then you should want Hamas to unequivocally surrender.

Why can't Biden, Harris and Jeffries back Arab leaders and their reasonable request for Cease Fire? The next time the eight Arab leaders get together, they won't announce their decision. The most thoughtful and reasonable men on planet Earth are asking for Cease Fire. Israelis can mock Hamas leadership. Leaders of K.S.A., Egypt, Jordan, etc. want to calmly negotiate an end. Immediate Cease Fire is wise or Israelis can continue with genocide. Israelis have killed well past blood revenge. Some people believe Jews are smart. It's time to be smart now.

Israel spends a lot of that money on keeping their Iron Dome well equipped. They wouldn’t need an Iron Dome if their neighbors didn’t openly call for Israel’s extermination. If your neighbor broke into your house and killed your wife and kids and then ran home and hid behind their wife and kids and demanded you stopped being violent I'm sure you would just shrug your shoulders and accept your fate.
Call me old fashioned, but I’d say what Hamas did exposes them as being cold hearted and genocidal. In fact, their charter proves it.
It’s unfortunate Palestinian civilians will die because of the murderous acts of Hamas. As I said in another post, if people care about saving innocent lives, they should be calling for the immediate surrender of Hamas.

The US national media seems to have done a significant flip in the last 48 hours. It was all sympathy for Israel for the first 8 days, but in the last 2 days I've noticed a strong change to Palestinian favored coverage. Who expected this?
And the hardcore Trump fans seem to have reconciled their cognitive dissonance and gone to the pacifist/appeaser side of things. They may still be stomping and yelling for Israel, but if you mention Biden or the US military, they seem to go into different bone zone in their heads. Israel could lose the fickle support its loudest American fans when things get heavy. That matters.
