I know canada well, most of the residents are fully invested in American politics and culture. Meanwhile here in the U.S. virtually nobody gives a crap about canada.
the shame the United States should feel for bringing this conflict to our best friend nation is immense.
The Canadian PM:
“As I’ve been warning for months, America wants our land, our resources, our water, our country,” he said. “President Trump is trying to break us so he can own us. That will never happen.” He also warned Canadians that confronting the American threat would be difficult and might require sacrifices.
Reminder: Donald Trump is a convicted felon (and serial rapist) who pardoned 1500 violent insurrectionists that assaulted police.
He has never been convicted of rape. You have never been convicted of rape eiter.
Cool. He's still a convicted felon (and serial rapist) who pardoned 1500 violent insurrectionists that assaulted police.
I've also never had a judge write the following about me:
The only point on which Ms. Carroll did not prevail was whether she had proved that Mr. Trump had "raped" her within the narrow, technical meaning of a particular section of the New York Penal Law – a section that provides that the label "rape" as used in criminal prosecutions in New York applies only to vaginal penetration by a penis. Forcible, unconsented-to penetration of the vagina or of other bodily orifices by fingers, other body parts, or other articles or materials is not called "rape" under the New York Penal Law. It instead is labeled "sexual abuse."
"Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, says it has saved $160 billion through its push to root out wasteful or fraudulent government spending. But that effort may also have come at a cost for taxpayers, with a new estimate from a nonpartisan research and advocacy group estimating that DOGE's actions will cost $135 billion this fiscal year. The analysis seeks to tally the costs associated with putting tens of thousands of federal employees on paid leave, re-hiring mistakenly fired workers and lost productivity, according to the Partnership for Public Service (PSP), a nonpartisan nonprofit that focuses on the federal workforce."

There is a concept in geopolitics that powerful countries can take consequential actions without much thought, while weaker countries have to worry a great deal about even low-consequence actions. Canada is bordered exclusively by a country with ~10x its population and ~15x its GDP. No wonder they think about Americans a lot.
LOL, coming from a guy who doesn't know how the EC system works, that's rich! Have a great day liberal loser. That loss must still sting every day, eh? Trump owns you BIGLY and that is enough to give me a smile to the guy who said Harris would win...too funny!
I've noticed you're posting during the day today, not at night like normal. Did you switch shifts at work? Hopefully a promotion was in order.
Thing is, you always harp about the election. The election is over. We get it. Trump won. We don't even dispute it.
Problem is, governing is hard stuff. And Trump's made a LOT of mistakes. He took a good economy and is strangling it. Markets down. Unemployment up. Consumer confidence cratering. Experts are telling us there are product shortages coming up starting in May, as container ships are showing up without our normal imports.
All of this is very concerning to most of us. We don't care about pronouns or woke. We care about people losing jobs, losing their retirement savings, lives destroyed, all because one guy doesn't understand how tariffs and the broader economy work.
So maybe instead of re-hashing old history about the election, move forward with us into 2025.
Speaking realistically, for quite a few people the highest point of the Trump presidencies has been his winning them.
They don't really follow politics or legislation as such. "We won, you lost!" requires less time and thought.
The sad part is that that is all they'll draw from the Trump presidencies. They don't have a grasp of the bad and good acts and events (yes, some have been good) of Trump's terms, and so they learn nothing for the future.

Canada is not our best friend nation. They’re smaller, weaker, and incredibly woke (e.g. constant land acknowledgements). They care about American politics a TON while basically no American cares about Canadian politics.

turns out the conservative dude not only lost the election for PM but lost his seat in the Canadian Parliament.
Thanks addled assistant Trump, weak bullsht talk backs fires, sad.
This guy, towards the end of the campaign, had his TDS on full display and walah, ended him. Canadians have never fought for freedom and figured to go with the real deal instead of the imposter.

REPORTER: Amazon will soon display a number next to the price of each product that shows how much the Trump tariffs are adding. Isn't that a perfect demonstration that it's the American consumer who is paying for these policies? LEAVITT: This is a hostile and political act by Amazon.

^^^ I don’t know how this kid dresses himself in the morning. His Trumpian take on how the Canadian election went down is like something taught at Trump University.

(he's trying to be funny. Taking a classic trumper view and moving it to 12/10ths for comedic impact.)

Cool story bro.
Do yourself a favor and educate yourself else, once again, I will need to deliver the lesson. It’s gets nauseating dealing with tools but it’s not the end of the World.
What would be the end of the Workd is if we go by your plan and deny peace a chance with Russia.
Would you rather we fly tomahawks into the Kremlin or just drop the H-Bomb? what is your preferred method to take the action you desire tomorrow and then educate us on what you believe the fallout will be please?

What does this have to do with the Canadian election or the President’s threats to annex Canada?

Elon, where is our $1 Trillion in savings ?!?
You haven't gotten your $5,000 DOGE check yet?
Here's where we're at with DOGE:
Won't save the promised $2 trillion
Won't save the promised $1 trillion, after they changed the target to save face
Aren't really saving $160 billion either. That number is fraught with errors and lies
The cost of DOGE likely exceeds any savings attributed to it
The embarrassed themselves by firing people they had to beg to come back to work
There will be no "DOGE checks." Ever.
How soon can they find a way to blame the massive DOGE failure on Democrats?
