I have a theory about most of our fervent Trumpers on this board. You know who they are.
I think most of them may be college age white males or younger. It comes over repeatedly in the way that they post. The juvenile "I know you are but what am I" retorts. Treating the election like it is a weekend football game. And of course the homophobic slurs that we used in grade school.
But it would also explain why they all claim the economy is horrific while most of the rest of us are swimming in new money because of the blockbuster economy.
I wouldn't be shocked at all if that were the case. I have strong reservations about affirmative action / DEI, but it's only white males (and maybe a couple Asian males here as well) who truly hate it and are vocal about it.
It is important to Remember that US military Generals stay out of politics in general. They simply are not public partisan hacks. For John Kelly, Trump's longest serving chief of staff to come out and publicly allow himself to be on the record about Trump's hitler statements and Fascist goals it is because these people closest to Trump are scared as hell.
They know exactly what Trump will do immediately.
Trump today said the first thing he would do immediately is to FIRE Jack Smith. This is what motivates Trump. Not the economy. Not inflation. Not the border. He wants to stay out of jail and start dealing retribution.

Smith is a one bad-ass lawyer. You should watch how he sets up his cases - he's absolutely doing 5D chess. Methodical, determined, cautious, systematic, disciplined. He's about as good as you'll ever see from a federal prosecutor.

And now we get news that some of the Trump door knockers have been scamming the system, not really knocking on doors at all. Trump door knockers in Arizona last week were 24% unsophisticated scammers plus an unknown number of sophisticated GPS scammers. No enthusiasm for the old fascist.
