Good post. That reminds me, I recently met the CEO of a multinational transportation company at a corporate event. He was explaining how he got to where he is and some past hurdles and issues his company encountered. He went on about how certain political processes are abused in his native country and had excellent arguments about how corruption is often just as bad in developed countries, but can be disguised differently. In Argentina, the politicians are openly corrupt without consequences. Often they never even have to go in front of a judge and publicly point the finger and deny their actions, even though they are clearly guilty. One major difference in the US is that our politicians are able to use legal means to achieve corruption, so it just doesn't look as bad on the surface. The other difference is that our strong economy can withstand and buffer a lot of the financial damage. Think of the health insurers and many other large lobbies - they have participated in legal corruption and helped syphon billion over decades. Sure, it was legal and our economy hasn't collapsed, but still damaging and corrupt. Perhaps trumpkins have become a bit more openly accepting of corruption, since all wrongdoing by the Orange One is fine by them.

Republicans also attempted to deny the new governor of North Carolina in the 2016. I think the state's democracy was momentarily downgraded by an international watchdog.

Also, lol at what Republicans are trying to do in PA.

But really, lol at any party engaging in such corruption. If the Democrats were trying to block special elections or deny an elected governor his position then yes, we'd be up in arms over that too.

In that segment, they go through the arguments about whether Trump needed to sign the agreement, which he did not. The argument was that Stormy made this agreement between her and Cohen's LLC. Therefore, this did not require anyone else's signature.
But the clincher was that there was consideration in the agreement which could only be fulfilled by Donald Trump personally. The contract has stipulations about Trump and his family staying away from Stormy Daniels. Since the third party LLC can not possibly deliver that part of the agreement, the LLC can not sign for it. Only Trump could agree to those stipulations and therefore, without Trump's signature, the agreement never happened.
Stormy's lawyer is super impressive. I don't think Cohen stands a chance in court.

Her lawyer is indeed super impressive, his retainer fee was a bj.

Only the thing is that democrats generally believe in the democratic process, while Republicans do their very best to subvert and corrupt it. Gerrymandering, colluding with Russia, the fake illegal vote debate, the business with Florida votes in 2000.

The GOP is corrupt to the core and only pays lip service to democracy, Christian values and the constitution when it serves their financial interests.

They keep dragging the level of political discourse down, down and further down turning it into a simian poopflinging contest that culminated in the election of a mendacious blowhard that looks like a Cheeto and is probably not quite as smart as one.

I am one inch shorter than Flagpole, have wavy brown hair, am 24 years younger than Flagpole, I live in a big city, I am working on a PhD. on the East Coast, and my 5000 PR is around two minutes slower than his 5000 PR which is apparently under 15 minutes. You would also lose your mind if I walked by you in a black dress.

Given the very unusual silence from the Chief Idiot on this issue, you wonder from where the inspiration comes for such discipline comes. What is the fear that gives him such discipline on this and only this issue?

And Melania is staying far away from Trump. She made be able to undo her pre-nup because of the adultery. That could mean she could divorce Duh Donald and get a boat load of cash-money. If she does dump Trump he would have to pay her bigly regardless of what the prenup contains.

I know it's hard for people who have never been complimented to understand that others do get compliments, but some of us do, brother. And, I HAVE been dominant (along with some other non-Trumpers) on this thread, because the truth and what is right is on our side.
