Don't be so dense. IF they use smooth handoffs. They have not. Today you can warn them. I expect smoother handoffs once they realize that Garmin has caught the exchanges. :)

As compared to the Marvellous Mimi Fanclub: So what if she missed all the timing mats. The only proof we need is the finishing time.

There's a certain parallel in that it seemed Rossi's only goal was Boston and Mimi's only goal is the GWR. I'm not accusing her of cheating but her team doesn't seem to care how she gets there, just that she does.

Similar stops that occurred in a small town are not included. Could be stopping for traffic lights.

Mimi and her team could so easily end this thread if they just post a non stop video of Mimi running for a day. Too much to ask with the size of her team and dedicated film crew?

Well, we called out Rob Young. They brought in Professor Ross Tucker to arbitrate and he busted him - sponsor dumped him.

Markus Mueller Actually it is not a official World Record to begin with. The Guinness World of Records thing is one objective Mimi is going for.

But there are also people who care about the fastest crossing across America, that is and never was a official record but it has a nice ring to it.

At the end these are all journey runs and you can believe the runner or you don't.

World Records are non of these.

And it surprising how often the odd stops occur for Mimi. Sandy has some but no where near as many.

Having two sets of multi-day Garmin realtime routes to compare for frequency of anomalies is unusual. Watching the two at the same time shows is the only way to wonder why one data set if consistently different than the other. And not because they are collecting data differently. But because occur at places that are convenient. They are not random device hiccups.

Right, and now we have another sponsor, RaceDrone, stating in no uncertain terms that there are gaps in Mimi's data for at least 40 hours. At this point, no matter what Guinness decides there will be a sizable population that disagrees.

Unfortunately, by claiming the GWR Mimi will make a lot more money, and Sandy will be taken advantage of.

I expect that Mimi's record will never be broken. A top-notch ultra woman at her prime and in perfect health will not approach a record set by a 55-year-old women, coming of major knee surgery, who can barely walk in and out on an RV. Colour me skeptical.

Sorry but that wasn't me. No reason to believe me of course but then I have no reason to lie.

Question for you. Do you genuinely believe an experienced ultra runner is using her crew to relay trackers across the US? And has somehow convinced a film crew to just ignore it? Genuine question btw
