Sure. EPS has actually been up much more recently. And that’s not the only factor in market pricing. A large factor in the current environment is the low bond yield. And inflation is low. It’s a new paradigm.

I have posted before how historically bond yields have nothing to do with stock market valuations other than encouraging speculation. Which I suppose without QT there are reasons to believe it will continue.
