I suggest that the 2002 Parliament debate be looked at . Andrew Hunter MP sets the case well and quotes much admittance of mistakes and hiding evidence .

However we must remember that the response from the Minister was in itself misleading and errorsome .

It took a court case for the Freedom Of Information Act to be applied to expose the coverups and lies.

Clearly the Minister can only rely on those from UKS that brief him .

As it was UKS that was part of the problem then it is no wonder he was mislead .

Perhaps someone from UKS could have lost their job over this .

You're right. the GDPR doesn't change that much, except for that headline maximum fine, which scares people. There is also no case law at all around in. It does, however, require that personal data is accurate, and that the person can demand to see it.

The doping authorities will still try and be clever by evading who is the data controller , whether the data they hold is personal data or not .

And then the whole process will start again as objections to release come up . The best one would be that to release personal data would be a health and safety breach , so you can’t have it .

The next stage to take would be to go through the whole process again via the Freedom of Info Act .

By then six years would have gone by and the athlete would have long given up .

We did learn such a lot keeping hidden the data that would have cleared Edwards if released prior to the hearings .

We really are clever at this .

I have been a consultant in this area for over 12 years .

It is quite inconceivable that you could use Health and Safety to refuse to provide the personal data from a doping control analysis .

But as Wada have now said they will look at old doping matters ( Chinese ) then they have excuse not to look at the injustice of the Edwards case .

All needs to be transparent and open otherwise you can’t have any confidence in doping control .

I am still stunned by the suggestion that you could use Health and Safety to deny access to your doping analysis.

Can someone provide more detail of this preposterous refusal as I would be fascinated as to see how anyone could begin to sustain this ploy .

So , I think you are saying that UK Sport and Kings College said they had all the data and info that would have cleared you but refused to give it to you citing health and safety .

But then when the Infomation Commusioner directed that the Health and Safety reason for withholding the was not valid and they should give you the data they said that actually the calibration data did not exist .

And they got away with this ploy to keep you banned .

This letter from a senior academic is dynamite.

How did UK Sport get away with misleading the Minister of Sport in this way .

No review of the new evidence that UK Sport and Kings College hid for years and years .

I noted , within the letter , that there was no denial in any regard of the fatal failures of the Kings College London’s laboratory procedures .

Why then then is Edwards still banned ?

Is this Sue Campbell now both a Dame and a Barroness and is now in charge of women’s football in England .If so , can she be trusted to actually look at at review on the racialism in women’s soccer .

Well, it could be good for Paul, if the conspirators are still persons of interest. As said before, go after them, have them publicly blamed, shamed and fired, and then in the wake of that scandal Paul's ban could get lifted. This may also be something that letsrun could be interested in, or Seppelt, or MP Collins etc.

It's too late to go once more for an official reconsideration of this case.

Campbell set up the UK sport no compromise policy that has resulted in multiple claims for sexual harassment and bullying .

UK Sport will have to answer the letters I am writing to them .
