That's not rude or vile or nasty. Maybe no other messages were either. I've seen no evidence of this.

Seen no posts at all on his page that were abusive in any way either, only his silly followers fawning over him, who believe anything he says.

But I think we can all agree that there is a middle ground between "raging as$hole from hell" and "wishy washy". Plus, I would want to see what messages they claim to have received that they think are "vile" since I don't trust Dave Reading and his scam team at all.

I agree, most posts were probably fairly innocuous, but having seen previous shared content to Vaz and Young I am prepared to bet there were vitriolic private messages. When you get concurrent questioning on the threads it must be hard not to link the two in your mind. So I started posting to give perspective as to why they were getting the questioning posts, not excusing the abusive ones they most probably also got. I don't think many answers will be forthcoming during the run/walk, but I will try to engage about the marathons etc after it is over (most probably due to injury/exhaustion as I think he has totally underestimated the challenge).

I wouldn't be surprised in the least that nasty messages were sent. This is LR and par for the course.

I put Dave in the delusional category. Not saying it to be mean, but there is a disconnect to reality on this one.

I saw NO posts that were negative in any way on his page, and i was watching the page for updates.

I think they are exaggerating this just as much as he has exaggerated his past running PR's and his bragging about setting a WR

What exactly did i ask to have explained? I pointed out he has a Garmin on the bike AS WELL as the tracker, therefore when and IF the stats start coming in there might be a mix of the two, making out they are running stats

So Dave's spat the dummy and is no longer going for the world record, not because he believes he can't do it or lied about doing it, but because of all the nasty "haters" who called him out.

FMD Dave, if you thought you could do it before all the nasty "haters" got stuck in to you, surely you still believe that, in fact, it should give you greater motivation to prove all the "haters" wrong by doing it.
