You are arguing on my side so I don't want to, but I have to respond. Wilson is not in the same galaxy as the guys you listed him with. Rodgers(it has a g), Brady, Manning, Romo, and Big Ben are top tier this season. After that you have guys like Brees, Luck(only second tier due to turnovers recently including two pick sixes in two games), Rivers, and MAYBE Wilson but he's closer to Sanchez than Rodgers. Don't be fooled by a great defense and think Wilson is responsible for them winning
You're either a total homer or you're high.
Wilson is light years better than Tony Romo. Wilson has more victories than any other quarterback in his first three years. He has a ring. And I know exactly what you'll say: he has a great defense.
Well if his defense is SO good why has he had to engineer 9 fourth quarter comebacks in his short career? Why has he needed 13 game winning drives? Answer: his defense has given up the lead, and he's needed to take it back. This behind a terrible offensive line, and throwing the ball to guys most people have never heard of.
Look, Tony Romo is having a good year. That much we can agree on. But if you look at all starting quarterbacks in the NFL, ranked by career winning percentage, Romo is sitting around 12th. So when his career is compared to his current peers, he is slightly better than average:
Tom Brady .766
Russell Wilson .745
Peyton Manning .682
Andrew Luck .673
Roethlesbeger .671
Aaron Rodgers .664
Kaepernick .651
Flacco .650
Rivers .603
Dalton .602
Foles .600
Romo .592
Matt Ryan .584
Kudos to him on a good year -- due mostly in part to an excellent offensive line, a top-notch running game, and a superstar wide receiver.
