If Matt Sr. said this then that could mean that he thinks the reason for the positive is pure BS. So, he thinks the USADA needs to be called out on this "supposed positive." That means the results is based on indirect analysis and not on direct test results.

Personally, I think the USADA has a gigantic ego, and is using now using indirect evaluations of test data to get a positive result. It is high-time for the USADA to get challenged by high profile attorneys, and if anyone can force the USADA to only use direct test evidence it would be a company like Nike.

No, this type of thing is a BIG deal and if there was a funky positive test result, then Nike should challenge it to the bitter end. If this is why "immediate" information is available then people in athletic community have a right to know what the outcome will be. In other words, a funky test positive needs a lot more justification from the USADA. The USADA likely doesn't have justification to make this "positive" stand, so a long delay is coming before the dust finally settles.

So... what exactly are you saying? That USADA just decided to say his test was positive without actually testing it...? I don't get what you mean by indirect evaluations. Either you test it or you don't.

The USADA did do a test, and could have inferred a positive result. This would be similar to what they did to Armstrong, when his teammates ratted him out, but I truly doubt NOP teammates would rat anyone out. But, I do think the USADA is fully willing to try something new to claim a positive result without needing any teammates to confirm anything.

I am not surprised. Athletes have a right to know what the latest USADA thinking is regarding a positive result. If this is true, I am fully behind the Centrowitz family, NOP and Nike banging heads very hard with the USADA. And if this is NOT true, the USADA still needs to be accountable if they are starting to rely heavily on indirect (funky) evidence to get a positive test result.

Unfortunately this rumor is true. I've heard from 2 sources that I am really close with. One in the portland (other group) and one in Seattle. The news will come out soon enough regardless if you believe my post or not.
