Adidas Adizero Pro replacement?!? (with replies from adidas)

I wore my first pair of rockets for 6 months! Even after 4 months, they had enough give to race in.

The takumi sen are 115 on running warehouse free shipping. I guess you can get them a little cheaper imported from Britain.

Am sure Adidas was have something special for us to coincide with the Olympics next year, time will tell. Meanwhile I love these shoes so much have just bought my 5th pair...as I mentioned above £63 (all black from Start Fitness in the UK with 10% voucher code). That's true VFM.

That's the SB3 right ? Too bad it just doesn't work for me with the "pods" wearing out crazy fast with my stride ! Hopefully you haven't burnt through 4 pairs already ? ;-)

Do you still see more wear with the R3Bs ? It didn't look like they would work for me either and I gladly went back to the AB2s that work perfect for 10ks and are still ok for 15ks...20ks/HMs are a bit much for them though with my 6'3/165 1h25'/HM profile as it takes me a while to recover. The BB5 worked better in that respect but hurt my Achilles...maybe the BB6 will improve on that if they ever come out if not I'll use my trusty GB6s. Have you seen any new Adidas catalogues by any chance ?

I just bought a replacement pair of Boston boosts- I figured after a year my old ones would have lost something. But the new ones feel exactly the same as the old ones. This boost material doesn't wear out!

Yes, sorry, I was bit vague there. I was (am) referring to Sen Boost. No haven't consumed 4 pairs! Have 3 on the go (all blk12.5, blk/white12, solar yell12) at varying degrees of usage/wear but all with miles to go. Have sized up from UK 12 to 12.5 for extra room in the toe box esp and, for me, the shoes are now almost 100% perfect. 12 bite my left foot big toe a little after appx 10 miles. Have another 2 pairs unused (amazon purp12, all blk 12.5). These 5 will keep me going for ages. Having said that I fully suspect that I'll be seduced be the Sen Boost SS16 range:

AF4019 Shock Green/Core Black/Blue Glow Jan-16

AF4042 White/Black/Solar Green Jan-16

AF6433 Radora Maroon/Granite Feb-16

Like you decided against Ren Boost. Although a good looker I thought that they were a bit too flat response wise and certainly not in the same league as Sen Boost. Yes, a little more cushioning but a lot less (re)action from the midsole. Interesting to see that a number of newish/novice (I'm trying to find a better expression) runners have tried Sen B and found them to work brilliantly illustrating that they are not for elites only.

I also decided againtst Boston B as too heavy for me. So it's Sen B and Adios B almost exclusively that I use.

Other than the details above for Sen SS16, no, have not seen any new Adidas catalogues or established details of the 16 offerings...but I understand that maroon and EQT (equipment) green will be prominent colours.

Sounds good, too bad the SENs didn't work with my foot strike, they were certainly pleasant shoes. Still wondering if I can fill the gap between the AB2s and the GB6s for HMs...on the other hand while the GB6s feel a bit heavy at first they get pretty "comfy" after you've been pounding the asphalt for 10+ Ks ;-)

They released it initally at the Boston Marathon (crazy idea, I know), so it wouldn't surprise me if they did the same thing with V2.

Well the BB6 was announced and even reviewed on YouTube by runningwarehouse but that video got pulled (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNfODU-AmiE) . Maybe because the BB6 for men seemed unchanged compared to the BB5 while the Women's version had a primeknit upper. In the end it seems they went back to BB5 and BB5 TSF for the W version, confusing...

Since people seemed to have stopped complaining about how narrow it is I'm wondering if they didn't quietly improve on that with the new 2015 colorways...I'll soon find out ;-)

Had Sen 3 for a few months.. own lots of flats LT 2s Endorphins pirañas etc. these are the heaviest but i must say they are the best i own.

Interesting shoe... I think they improve my running economy being a forefoot striker and work very well on hard roads I love my zoom streak LT 2s for road racing but the Sen 3 seem more aggressive and have more pop. this seems to trump the higher weight factor.

Ran a 10k at the weekend @ my normal 5k pace in these and PB'd a half marathon recently in them too. A real revelation

Not so great on bouncy track though as the boost goes a bit mushy i find and LT 2s are better for me

Considering using them at the London marathon in April. Anyone taken these to 26.2? Im 5'7" 138Ibs but am a bit concerned about the cushioning in the heel when i tire (looking at doing 2:50) would love to hear some experiences in this shoe at marathon distance

Re using them for 26.2, Aleksey Reunkov wore them @ London '15 whilst it would appear that all of the other Adidas elite runners wore Adios, see 2 pics linked below...
