Your understanding of the testing protocols is 100% wrong. If you are in the pool you are subject to random, out of competition testing all year round.
I have a feeling that track and PEDs is going to blow up into a major frenzy very soon. Sure there have been busts before, but I predict a major scandal is brewing on the horizon, similar to when steroids and baseball blew up.
As we all know the sport is crooked and corrupt, we just choose not to see it sometime. The huge spike in performance by the top athletes are very hard to ignore, epsecially if you know anything about the sport. Volunteering for random drug test dont make you innocent of being a drug cheat because there is this thing out there called'undetectable steroids.' I competed at the usa championships and was all excited to be there until i saw exactly what was going on behind the scenes. The problem will never go away, its sad but true

Block clearly is in control of his agency and staff. He clearly is not threatened by USATF or USADA sanctions.
Im not so worried about Nike employees as I am the USATF senior staff that he was mingling with in the Nike sky box , yes this is where they hang. Could it be they do not know who is or is not banned in the sport and the rules surrounding it.
Its not a athlete issue as Im sure Block has told them not to worry its ok and coached them not to say anything about his current involvement. This may bring another problem about an athletes interaction with a banned agent , what are the rules and are they at risk ? Can an athlete be questioned to determine wether Block is involved not and if found lying banned themselves ?

In all other sports they constantly change the rules of the game to make it more exciting -- the nba used to have no shot clock, zone defense, and dunking was illegal. Track hasn't evolved.

I wouldn't call that "constant change". Those were just rule changes that needed to be made.
What is the current extent of Mr. Block's involvement in the sport? Remember he is supposed to be in the midst of a 10-year ban. What are the conditions of the ban? Anybody have an answer to this question?
The fact that Mark Block is getting more negative press simply being at the meet than Justin Gatlin a DRUG CHEAT is qualifying for the Olympics at the same meet is why this sport is such an obscurity.
You're more worried about where someone sits at a track meet rather than who is actually competing at the meet.
We get it, Nike hates LetsRun, mostly because of stuff like this, just relentlessly attacking a ghost story and then spending more time trying to justify it as a legitimate concern. This whole thread is pointless attempt at two people who's world famous boards are world famous because of people other than themselves.
