st thomas still sucks.
st thomas still sucks.
samson rules, he may not run as much as you, but I guarantee his aerobic workload is higher (think lots of stairclimbing).

What? Didn't Grinnell beat St. Olaf (on their home course) by like 60+ points today? In addition to giving it to St. Thomas pretty handily. Logic is lacking here.
It should be noted that the Macalester mens team was seen running the Twin Cities Marathon 5k (WTF?). Their top three had the honor of narrowly beating Emily Brown, the rest of "mens" team wasn't so fortunate.
St. Thomas was missing Sames, Rosvold, and Williams, whatever they are still a bunch of fags..

They were not missing. I can tell you for sure that Rosvold and Williams dropped out. Not sure about Sames.
I think they were talking about last year

It's more logical to look at trends, not just one race. Grinnell's performance seems to be lagging just slightly from the beginning of the season, while the other teams mentioned are improving a lot. Regionals is over a month away. A lot can happen in that time, and I think at least one of the four MIAC teams mentioned will overtake Grinnell and maybe Carleton.
As for Mac at TC 5k, that is a bit unusual. However, it's very common for elite runners to use shorter races to start their sharpening phase. It'll be interesting to see how they're progressing next weekend.
i disagree. the only thing that matters is how well you run in september and early october. if you beat a team at that time, then you should be guarenteed a spot to nationals. so since grinell beat those teams, they automatically qualify for nationals. even when tehy come in 10th place at regionals.
Although SJU peaked at the right time a week later at regions and then more so at Nats.
Will the real Sam Hauck please stand up?
I'm pretty sure Zdroik and Moran would be right with Fermoyle..sure I'll give erichson the win, but how can you say they will go 1 and 2. I mean come on zdroik got the pre look goin'
you miac guys keep ripping on lax...probably because you are just jealous of their tradition, and maybe a little disguisted with the fact that one of your better miac runners transfered there..The guys that run for them are nice guys, they are not ahead of themselves like some other wiac schools i can think of...They do have leaders..Zdroik and moran is contuniuning to get healthy again from week to week. They are going to be better than they were last year at nats. They do have a nice campus and good cirriculum and hot chicks. So don't say LAX has nothing to offer. I don't see any other D3 schools around here producing as many professional athletes..
I was unaware that Zdroik and Moran, along with the LaX team, had joined the MIAC?
that post made no sense..just to clarify he meant logan ogrady was the miac guy who transfered there from the miac...who said anything about zdroik and moran being part of the miac..
oh nm, but he meant if lax had been racing SJU. . .
UW LaCrosse has a great CC program and a great tradition of winning. Although, I am curious why they are still Division III.
GLEASON IS RUNNING AT MIAC
So what?!
right im sure he is..he's not even on their roster. Although they sure could use him since they will be 5th at conference!!!!
