Can’t believe that there is no stream for the men’s 3k. Has to be the deepest field of the night. Another failure from AA.

Streaming starts at 7:30 and they miss the men's 3k what a shambles. The result website ROSTER is terrible with no live splits either. Let's see what AA comes up with next and yes the meet should be renamed although I don't have any idea who Maurie Plant was but there are more deserving people in athletics that should have a meet named after them. At least they go the Zatopek meet right.

I honestly can't be effed trying to watch athletics live anymore tbh. If the people who run the sport don't want to livestream all the races, I don't want to watch it.
Tamsyn's garbage commentary is gonna annoy the fk out of me anyway. She will say something stupid with 300m to go like "did you guys know Stewy's a pisces and he has a goldfish called Sally?"

Big shoutout to Joel Tobin-White, who upon announcing that he had put down a deposit on a house, decided that the first thing he wanted to talk about was the mean people on Letsrun who told him to get a normal job. You sure showed us, Joel . We're clearly still living rent-free both in his head and his new house.

The only event that should be named after Maurie Plant is the Enhanced Games.

I gotta say guys, refreshing the roster athletics page was definitely more fun than watching the race and seeing how it played out.

Davies too strong in the women's 3k. Skyring was impressive to hold off Griffiths. Looks like Skyring is now up on the same level as the other top girls. Hopefully a big year for her.

Anyone got the goss on what's happened to Nat Rule over the past 12-18 months? Unsponsored after presumably not being renewed by New Balance. Does a bunch of training with the ON girls, and almost DFL tonight?
I notice she's no longer managed by NB too so curious if there was some of the usual associated drama there.

No, I thought this too. She definitely had the extra gear in her but almost jogged in it. She got her pay day from showing up on the start line, probably wouldn’t have got too much more from the win so share it.
