Marco Langon and Rocky Hansen are next up for USA runners. True sophomores running so strong in a pro-caliber field, against Samuel, Musau, and everyone's favorite super senior Clinger.

Musau was so impressive, Samuel gave it his all and really didn't have anything left. I think Arkansas leading from the gun would've worked had they truly committed, but there wasn't a lot of gas left in the tank.

This track is ass. Lanes 3 and 4 are clearly faster. Not fair

If Clinger is already running 13:13, the sky is the limit for him by the time he graduates.

Nice to see that Clinger can still improve at his age. He is already 26 and will be 27 in 6 months. I wasn’t improving anymore at that age.

Him and Murphy were the stunners of that. Unclear what happened.

Langon is a red shirt Track soph, less that two weeks older than Hansen, but grade ahead, school wise. Very fast non race

Lane six looks slow, that run by Stubbs looked painful at the end.

Murphy not really connected when he had to be, it happens. Langon is really really good. Just turned 20 in August late.

Any idea yet on who the top milers are for the final leg of the upcoming DMR?

Musau gets his sweet revenge on Samuel for NCAA xc Nats for cutting off and tripping two of his teammates (and the Iowa state guy) mid way through that race.

Samuel is wild, he nearly caused a fall every single lap.

yeah surprised by both, but their coaches may have realized they were out of it so told them to shut it down and save something for 3K.

Bosley on the other hand, blew up with a lap to go. he was running with Hanson for a good chunk of the race but decided to surge ahead and take the lead. he tends to do that, but it looks like it cost him big time. he stays with Hanson he might have had a chance to podium. now he's got a 3K tomorrow on tired legs. thoughts and prayers.

With no 3k qualifier tomorrow, I really, really hope that Rocky Hansen anchors Wake’s DMR. He’s probably still good for a 3:52 carry. With all the double T they do, surely he can recover like that 5,000m was nothing.
