The Grand Slam track hasn't been run yet. The only point about that is that Ingebrigtsen would flounder in the 800 and struggle to win non-paced races in the 1500. But what shows Ingebrigtsen's relative decline is how he has been unable to win a global 1500 title in 3 years.
Whether Kerr is interested or not in the Euros is irrelevant to any of that.
Yes, it's relevant when you're saying Kerr won't compete against Jakob at the Euros because he's "not interested in the minor titles", but he's more than happy to sign up for the cash grab league.
So which is it, is he not interested in the minor titles or is the GST a major title?
I am not arguing that Grand Slam track is of the order of a global championship. You have a slow mind. My point is only that Ingebrigtsen is being surpassed in his main event, the 1500/mile. But Kerr is also correct in saying that Jakob wouldn't cut it trying to double as an 800 runner, which is what the Grand Slam track provides. You fans are pretty dim.
2020 is 5 years ago, for f***sake. It is the years since that show the change in their respective careers. Kerr now regularly beats Ingebrigtsen in the 1500. So do a bunch of the "next guys".
How has "the best in his era" failed to win a championship gold in his best distance in 3 years, and finished out of the medals in that event at the last Olympics? That was as long as Elliott's entire career. He is owned by Kerr - 3 straight big occasion races and two championship finals. But then Ingebrigtsen keeps losing to others as well. He is nowhere near the past greats of this event. They knew how to win.
In sport not always the same are winning. Those few runners who have beaten Ingebrigtsen are also very strong. But when we are even just looking on the 1500m/Mile, Ingebrigtsen in the last five years still definitely has the strongest record of all of them. Also when we are just looking on the last three seasons, it's really hard to come up with another no. 1 than Ingebrigtsen. Who? Give a name (small hint: he won't).
He isn't dominant and hasn't been so for 3 years. He's "one of the best" - there is no clear number one at the moment.
The maybe most astonishing fact about Armstrong, even when knowing about all his limitations and all his hatred against Ingebrigtsen: he still puts Ingebrigtsen success against them of all the others combined.
He is trying to argue like this since years.
In an attempt to show that Kenya was not the most successful nation in a given period, he has listed the successes of all other nations combined (for sure with mistakes and after having changed the period in question and so on)! Just that he has not to say the simple - and clearly demonstrated - fact that Kenya was the most successfull nation. Same here. Just astonishing.
What's really astonishing is how upset you guys get.
Yes you conveniently disregard and forget whatever isn't fitting your narrative, like you do when you disregard the european championship (as I have shown, this would be the regional championships for the olympic, the world champion and the world leader) and when you act like the DL doesn't count either. Its dishonest thinking, the twisting of facts that we see are in vogue in governments over the world.
Yes, so its disingenuous to pretend like there is a trend, which not only requires you to conveniently leave out any previous history, but also close your eyes for what comes after those specific events.
Not surprisingly, if you disregard every DNS of Kerr and every gold of Jakob you'll dream up something that support your opinion, but looking at the same numbers you are able to look at when talking about other runners, and you are not longer blinded by your hatred, you'll see that the number of medals and the best times tells a different story.
I lost interest as I read it. I disregard what you say because it is irrelevant. None of it changes the fact the Ingebrigtsen has repeatedly lost to other runners in his main event in the last 3 years. His dominance as a 1500 runner appears to be over.
You always "lose interest" when faced with your ignorance and/or dishonesty.

So that means you're lying about why Kerr won't run the Euros when you said he doesn't care about the "minor titles". Why do you lie about things that are easy to verify?

The Euros are a minor title, you moron. The Grand Slam track isn't the equivalent of the WC or Olympics, it is just a paycheck - an entertainment circus. I don't care what Kerr competes in but nothing changes the fact that the Euros are second-tier. You are making yourself increasingly pathetic.
