David Roche is a straight beast. Knowledgable, intelligent wife and fast runner. He’s got pubes for hair but look at all he’s accomplished compared to letsrun weirdos.

So then why go out of his way to lie (in his treadmill Strava workouts, for example) that he can run workouts that only a sub 28 10k runner can run?
Sorry, I misspoke (thank you for calling me out). I know for a fact that people on online message boards never actually know the full story behind things they are talking about! I definitely don't know the full story behind David's accomplishments or his journey, and I don't think anyone on here does!

we know enough about his running accomplishments to know that he's physically incapable of running 12 miles at 5 flat at altitude (his most recent workout on the treadmill). Which makes him a liar
He’s not saying that his treadmill workouts are gospel. He’s just posting the file. I don’t think anyone can prove he didn’t do it?

Why? Because liars lie. That's their thing
On his latest podcast he said “I think I’m being authentic when I say…” which is coincidentally how liars talk.
His entire Strava post on that workout was about another athlete’s accomplishments and lifting them up, not about the splits on his workout
the point of him posting his workouts is to showcase his workouts. He goes out his way to say he did a 6 x mile cutdown from 4:36-4:27, at altitude. This is impossible for him. Youd have to be Joe Klecker to do this workout
Well the point of Strava is to share your workouts, so of course he posts on Strava to share his workouts. I really don’t understand how anyone can prove he didn’t do the workouts, though. In theory he is building speed and fitness now as he’s building to run the most competitive race he’s ever run. Maybe his training is going really well.
