Has anyone talked about how this will effect Florida's chances in xc yet? Khan was a scorer for Florida last year and by all accounts looked to be a key asset for them again this year. I'd say any hope of finishing in the top half of the conference is dashed.

he got busted in an international event that wasn't NCAA sanctioned so i'm curious how much this effects his standing for Florida? he's still on the roster on their website. i have no idea regarding the rules of this sort of thing. I'd be stunned if Palmer let him run this fall, or ever.

I feel like deleting his instagram is a clue he's not going to be competing at Florida this season. I read a local Florida article that seemed to be downplaying his importance to the team saying he only competed in two meets in XC and left out his track wins. That seems to me like Florida fed that into to the paper to distance the team from him.

I found this: .At a minimum, he should be banned from competing this year under ncaa rules. It would be a very bad look if Florida allowed him to compete while banned by World Athletics.

Yeah, the article sounds like he was just kind of some walk-on nobody, not an important part of the gators squad or anyone the coaching staff would know by name.
They quoted his 66th place finish in one race last year, and a 34th place finish in another.
It is quite the opposite of acknowledging he was on scholarship to run at Florida, and won his conference in the 1500m for the gators, and is an obvious age cheat to anyone who has eyes. Tell me NOBODY on staff looked at him and did a double-take at his claim to be 19?

All this "obvious age cheat" stuff is borderline racism. You can't pull the "it's obvious to anyone with eyes" card - some people literally look older, including people born in countries with robust medical systems. Plenty of Americans look older than their age yet no-one will pull the "it's obvious to anyone with eyes" card.
That aside, it's actually pretty believable that he's 19 based on looking at him so I literally don't even know what you're on about, I know 16 year olds that look older than him228 -

What’s the “cheating” part? He’s allegedly set his age to one where he can’t get into any junior champs anyway, and he can get into Florida at any age, there’s no rule about that.

I agree with you 100%. An athlete can easily get caught up with this kind of thing on their own and that is usually the way it happens outside of team sports like cycling.
