Hocker has an amazing national class kick but it is only above average in a global final. He is probably the fastest in the field in a 1500 time trial at everyone’s current fitness and should have pushed the pace earlier
Hocker has the ugliest sprint form. Look at the contrast between he and Beamish in the slow-motion replay.

TRAGIC.
EMBARRASSING. 😂😂😂😂
You good bro?
Can't wait to see what the boys can do in Paris. What a great year to be a fan
Nordas spent way too much time in lane 3, he went out there and ran a mile instead of a 1500
does beamish have the best kick in men's distance running?
I really think an American can snag a medal in this women's 1500. Let's go.
Fantastic race by all three medalists, Beamish using his textbook lightning quick finish and Hocker gets his first global medal, albeit slightly misjudging his position. I’m so impressed by Kessler though, he’s running with such maturity that you wouldn’t believe he’s still only 20 years old.

Kessler in a great spot. He can def medal. Hocker and Cole 1-2 would be beautiful.
Hobbs and Cole*
Anyways, I am wicked impressed with Kessler for leading nearly wire to wire that race. Tactically he ran a race well beyond his years. Can't believe he is just 20 years old. He will win a gold medal at some point in his career. Future of US distance running is looking good - both mens and womens
AMERICA'S ADULT HUMAN FEMALE HOPE HAS ENTERED.
Think Hocker made his move just a tad too late, but from a race management standpoint that’s his best race so far.

Beamish, couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
Hocker just didn’t prepare for the outside pass.
Great run by Kessler. Held his ground with a great efficient trip and he had something left all the way to the end.
Agree. It's really great to see him rewarded after getting through a rough period in his career. First World Champ for the OAC and Coffee Club
LET’S GO NIKKI!!!!!

Yes. He’s beaten Oli hoare as a pro in a 1500 before. He’s been slept on, and I want to see him run a Diamond league 1500m.
any splits out there yet?

Beamish trained by Dathan Ritzenhein. Good work. Also trains Olly Hoare.
I watch the "coffee club" videos and Beamish is always the quiet introvert in the background. Hardly says anything. Hoare - does most of the talking, with McDonald, the leader of the chat, but quiet personality also.
Beamish - revenge of the nerds.

Going to be brilliant when you add Kerr, Jacob et al into the mix.
Genuinely feels like the best racer on the day will win; and that’s great for the sport.
