If you think it right to ban those who make the same point again and again then you must ban most on the boards because few say something only once, especially on subjects such as running, training, doping and politics. By that token you need to ban yourself, since you will have posted several times on the same subject. If you respond to this you will have done just that.
But you have also just effectively confirmed my point, that what you and many other posters don't like is reading comments you don't agree with. This thread largely shows that.
In reality, the upvotes and downvotes feature is one of the more detrimental things on letsrun. It allows people to judge the poster on palatability and not the information.
I would like to believe that, as runners, we all have various knowledge at different levels and some people can derive different knowledge from different sources, even from people they don't get along with or aren't friends with.
By the voting feature, as I have seen, it has become fashionable to downvote certain people such as to say....no thank you, I'd rather hear the same information from someone I like. That's in a nutshell pretty juvenile and honestly helps nothing.
I sense some will downvote this because some men like to be contrary rebels and some like to be jerks, but I would like people to actually put thought into this.
You’re pretty much asking for downvotes when you complain about up/downvotes.

That's like saying that I should probably expect to eat slop when I hang out with pigs. Now, some farmers can be decent and feed their pigs better, but generally, pigs are pigs and they eat slop. Much like a lot of posters here like the garbage.
It's true. It's indisputable and I frankly don't care who feels disrespected by my saying it.
You can decide what you accept from my statement but I can have it mean what I want. You're not a significant enough factor in my life to ever purport, imply or believe that anything you say or do would ever influence my decision about what I say and what I mean when I say it. Stick to your bar buddies.
Wejo, why was the thread “Smart people don’t believe in God” deleted yesterday? It had a tremendous amount of activity with interesting discourse (70 posts in 3 hours). It was suddenly deleted, likely by Malmo.

A bunch of us want to know why.
I’d like to know as well as I was posting in that thread.

Yes.. this is a problem as I also posted in the thread... we're almost being sold a lemon here whether or not we paid...

You are allowing unmitigated control of what people say and no explanation to them as to what went wrong in a thread except that it's gone.
Now if your coders input an algorithm that says if (such word) then delete thread, this would make sense, sort of...
But explain what is going on please...Johnsons or moderators or someone.

Agreed Mike. I posted in that thread as well. Let’s focus on getting an answer from Wejo on this one specifically as it serves as an excellent example. Yes, the thread had emotional charge and was a divisive topic, but that is what made it compelling. I see no reason why a thread that has so much activity and was a reasonable topic to be deleted. Ping Wejo and let’s get an answer.

I have called the 844 office number and have directly inquired about this by way of a voicemail.

I'll keep people further informed.
Thanks Mike. You’re doing gods work. Keeping accountability. let us know.
That was an interesting thread and I didn't see anything objectionable. I was planning to collect some thoughts and post something later, but of course it was gone.
