Boo hoo...you picked just about the most difficult schools to get into and you didn't cut it. Do you even know how many people have a perfect ACT or SAT score and 4.0 unweighted score? There were FIVE of them in my daughter's high school graduating class and 3 more in the other high school in town. Do you know how many high schools there are in this country, let alone all of the other countries that funnel students to the schools you mentioned?

If he has evidence, he can hire an attorney and go from there. All he knows has: he has higher s.a.t. than average s.a.t. than Blacks who chose to disclose their racial heritage. Not good enough. He has to name names. If he has a higher s.a.t. than a guy on basketball team averaging 15 points per game, no case; if o.p. has a higher s.a.t. score than a guy on football team averaging 2 quarterback sacks per game, no case; if o.p. has a higher s.a.t. score than son of alumnus who has donated $10 million, no case. O.p. is complaining here because he has case.

You are now swimming against a current where almost every applicant has an unweighted 4.0, however apples to oranges among preparatory schools the comparison may be. However, that is life, and especially now. The sooner you realize that, the better.
So, go to Rice, go kick ass, go start a company. When you get out into the workforce and prove yourself, then you can reward people on merit. Hire and promote on merit. You can pay it forward. Rice is an amazing school by the way.

It does not matter which school you attend as much as you believe. All your formal education will do is get you a job interview. Your education is not going to win your job interviews. Job interviews are similar to charming the opposite gender (same gender if you prefer). Does your high s.a.t. score get you the man or woman of your choice?
My maternal grandfather dropped out in the 6th grade. He died in early 1960's. Worth in range of 1/4 million to 1/3 million. My maternal grandmother, a l.p.n. by education grew the money to become a multi-millionaire by mid-1980's.
Either hire a lawyer and go from there or attend the best state university possible and move on. Today, you are pathetic.
