It will be visual gold to see a black police officer escort the orange buffoon to the window and be finger printed by another black officer.I will love it.
For those who love democracy, today is the nadir of the American republic. True patriots are appalled at this attack on the real Americans who support this man. Before he came after Obama for his false birth records, you liberals all liked him from the Apprentice. You decided he was racist for wanting to expose a black man from Kenya for serving in an office he was ineligible to hold. When he took down the corrupt and lawless Clintons, he roused the support of more than just his base. The China virus which has now been proven to have been weponized by NIH funding took away the greatest economy of my lifetime, Democrats cheered because it gave them the opportunity to flood the ballot boxes with millions of votes that would have never been cast without the lockdowns. Now he is being hounded while the White House is being run by a senile old man who is being manipulated by his drug addled, tax fraud son for Chinese and Ukrainian benefit. Wake up real Americans and support the man who put your agenda and rights as patriots at the top of his platform. This is an outrageous travesty and must be protested.
republican shtheads go home devastated: pandemic kill anti vax obese ie mostly the trump fans/misinformation victims, gas $ up, crypto crash from 69k, more deadbeat dad (abortion). Inflation fck em over more now haha yo…Relatives killed & gotta do a go fund me to cover funeral costs, gas up, piece of sht pick up truck drive far to get to job Anti planned parenthood, get a woman pregnant and pay child support
Yes sir. When will they all learn not to be so stupid?
Biden cost me more money last year than Trump allegedly paid Stormy. Unfortunately incompetence is not considered a crime.
Doesn't matter, man. Trump needs some decent lawyers for this, and he is not going to be able to find any. The only lawyers he can get these days are awful half-wits, completely lacking in strategy and savvy. What comes around, goes around. Trump has a reputation for not paying his bills, lying to his lawyers, and forcing them to pursue bogus arguments. And now he can't find a decent lawyer when he needs one most.
You are allowed to pay off an affair with a porn star. You are not allowed to pay off with other peoples money.
I think that is not an accurate assessment of the charges. Campaign finance money was not involved.
The March 23 episode of this podcast lays out the legal issues as best as they were known at the time. A big issue is the statute of limitations and a state court essentially using a federal law on which Trump has not been charged to bring the case. It is a bit complicated.
Looking forward to the State of Georgia, Federal DOJ, and The Southern District of NY (also federal DOJ) hitting him in short order. Heading to Costco to stock up on popcorn!
One part of this is the payoff for sure, but the DOJ has not chosen to prosecute under any campaign finance case. I think the folks there might see it as being close to the John Edwards case that was a loss.
This one has an issue of statute of limitations that Bragg is stretching from what I have heard lawyers talk about.
The Georgia case is a really, really strong one though.

agreed, but this will fall on deaf ears here at Letsrun.
You have to understand that most runners have lower T-levels, and thus lean democrat/liberal.
Not to mention many on Letsrun are "fully vaccinated" and voted for Biden, so we're literally talking about a brain-damaged population here lol
She describes Trump's p3nis as "smaller than average" but "not freakishly small."
"I lay there, annoyed that I was getting fvcked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a d1ck like the mushroom character in Mario Kart..."It may have been the least impressive s3x I'd ever had, but clearly, he didn't share that opinion."
John Edwards got away with it. What a waste of public money.
Edwards got indicted for it. So the Democrat did not get more favorable treatment from the prosecution. In Edward's case, at trial the jury found the prosecution's case inadequate. That could still happen for Trump. However, the case against Trump may be stronger if the stories about the testimony by the owner of The National Enquirer are accurate. Allegedly he testified that there was an agreement to pay off accusers with 'catch and kill' tactics and that it was for the purpose of improving Trump's chances in the election. That turns a slimy but legal payoff into a conspiracy to break campaign finance laws.
Edwards was indicted (and found not guilty) on campaign finance laws. Trump is not being prosecuted for that. Campaign finance is a federal issue, not state and the DOJ has chosen not to pursue such a case.
If you want to hear 2 lawyers discuss the issues surrounding this based on what thought to be the case a week ago. If there are other things in the indictment then the situation might be different. A big issue is the statute of limitations.
John Edwards got away with it. What a waste of public money.
Edwards was indicted on two charges and stood trial. He was acquitted on one, had a hung jury and mistrial on the other. Trump hasn’t been convicted… I don’t expect a different outcome in this case, though.
These cases are being brought under different laws. This is not a campaign finance case as that is federal. Bragg is using that as a way to make it a felony to extend the statute of limitations and that also might not hold up.

Seriously? Which law ? Paying hush money from campaign funds to an adult film star?
Is that what you’re going with? Explain the law he surely broke like you onow what you are talking about
Read the indictment when it is unsealed for your answer. But if your position is that he has broken no laws, your stance is still that he is not above the law, correct?
Except the money did not come from campaign funds. Plus if it did that would be a federal crime and the state cannot prosecute a federal crime.
The questions are pretty complex and this podcast on March 23 does a good job of explaining it.

Then call Alan Dershowitz and Jonathon Turley both left leaning scholars who this this was a very very weak case at best.
They think they are helping themselves, the country is do f’ed up in so many areas just look at every poll on everything
The Biden Admin numbers are abysmal. On everything.
at least be educated.
The crime is not hush money.
The crime is altering corporate finances to pay the hush money
and campaign finance for not reporting it as a sort of contribution.
Trump's lawyer already served time for the same crime.
At least try to be educated. Try. Read.
The campaign finance is a non starter was that is a federal crime that the state cannot prosecute. The Biden DOJ took a pass on bringing a campaign finance case.
The campaign finance aspect is being used to extend the stature of limitations for the fraud charges (or at least some of them). With 30 charges it will be interesting to see what they all are.
Sadly, it’ll be very hard for US Foreign Policy to use arguments such as “democracy” and “free and fair elections”, or try to condemn “political persecution” in other countries, from now on 🤷🏻♂️ https://t.co/HQTv0vUuA2
Trump was indicted for his role in the crime that his lawyer served time for.
If you don’t think Trump should have been indicted, do you also think Michael Cohen should not have been convicted and served time in prison for his role?
Cohen was convicted in federal court on campaign finance and tax evasion. Trump is being charged with neither here.
Listen to the legal arguments about the case on the March 23 edition of this podcast. They (who are not friendly to Trump) lay out the legal issues and the potential obstacles based on what was understood to be the case a week ago.
Maybe additional charges or new information has come to light, but a state court cannot prosecute a federal campaign finance law and not sure how he evaded taxes.

That's why he was trying to pay her off. He knew she was going to start talking about his weirdness, and he tried to pay her to shut up. It backfired on him, and now Trump is totally humiliated and busted big time.
Explains how Bragg appears to be getting around the statute of limitations. First, a felony fraud has a 5 year statute of limitations. An argument may be (will be?) made that since he was president the clock was put on hold (this happens in statute of limitations in certain cases that the March 23 podcast goes into) so there is still time remaining.
That might be a weak argument and maybe some of the other charges have merit aside from this.
